The gradeschool drama going on here is just silly. The death of EVE narrowly follows the actual real life appcalypse for the amount of failed predictions. I think i saw my first back in 2005. ---

2005 started off with about 12,000 players average online and ended with almost 20,000 on. 2023 looks to reverse those numbers. ---

We didn’t used to have the dag gum warp bubbles. There was no warp to zero. It was bookmarks that made a capsuleer a capsuleer. ---

What if the PLEX going up is creating problems for ISK farmers who buy PLEX with ISK? Almost all activities are paying the same, but the PLEX came from 1.3 mil a couple years ago to 5 mil now. ---

Quite the opposite. The game has consistently deteriorated SPECIFICALLY because of CCP pandering to carebears. Every patch removes another playstyle from the game. What other game do you know of that has done nothing but REMOVE content for a decade? Then when CCP FINALLY adds something it goes against the entire premise of EvE (abyssals, PvP arenas ect). This company is completely out of touch. The game we all knew and loved was only made possible because CCP used to listen to/respect their PvPers (you know, the players who ACTUALLY know how these mechanics work). The fact of the matter is, most PvEers don’t know enough about the game to know ANY of the effects the changes they whine for would have. I can tell you one thing for certain: the day PvP is removed from High-Sec is the day this game officially dies. I say this because most (by a large degree) of the destruction in this game happens in high-sec. If you removed ALL of that destruction the demand for ships (and modules, and ammo, and… everything) will plummet because nobody is losing ships. You thought scarcity was bad, but no carebear is prepared for how unviable for-profit industry would be if that much destruction was wiped off the table. Face it, you need destruction for your industry to matter and sometimes it’s your turn to be destroyed. Don’t be a bad sport, this is a game about shooting spaceships. The BACKBONE of this game is PvP no matter how much you gaslight yourself into believing otherwise. ---

Also I’m pretty tired of all the carebears out here claiming gankers have all the power. You literally can be 100% safe with the right preparation. I literally go straight through Uedama multiple times a week in a freighter packed to the hilt and since I always take proper precautions I’ve never been ganked. Hell I took a DST straight through Rancer twice just yesterday. It’s not hard, prepare and pay attention. Yall literally just wanna whine instead of learn. ---
