# Is eve more reliable to stay online on steam

No. There are no different servers in EVE (except for the mainland China one). Both Steam and native client connects to the same one (Tranquility). Your connectivity issues won’t be resolved by switching to Steam.

You can transfer a steam acct to eve online, but you can’t do it the other way
