Dracvlad, if I shoot an alpha miner, it’s just to encourage them to subscribe and pay CCP - which is exactly what CCP wants. I’m here to help them make money. I don’t care about alpha gankers. They are plebs. Nobody likes an alpha ganker, they are worthless and they are not welcome in fleets. Alphas are temporary trial accounts. They need to subscribe and pay CCP if they want anybody to respect them. ---

Big and slow is easy to tackle. When I need modules or ammo, I don’t take those ships into trade hubs. I use a destroyer because it’s more nimble. Based on everything I’ve read here, I’m of the opinion that solo hisec hauling is meant to be doable only to a certain scale unless you’re ok with a higher chance of being ganked. CCPs intent may very well be that if you’re going to move freight in hisec you need corpmates to do it with a high chance of success. ---

I suggested that a lock breaker module be something that can be fitted to a freighter, or that a freighter have the same fitting options as a Bowhead. You can use a BS MWD with a bowhead. Solo players should have tools to fit their ships with to make it less of a spreadsheet like certainty. I have a friend in Eve that saves freighters, he uses a large number of reppers and even then he often loses the DPS / rep race. What you are suggesting while desirable in terms of game play is not going to happen, you need at least twenty corpmates willing and able to do convoy protection, bit of a tall order that… ---

CCP are unaware of this suggestion, they don’t read their own forum most of the time, the only reason I got the bumping issue changed was that the CEO did a special on the forums and I made the point there. ---

I am talking to other players about the subject matter in this thread, while solo players are just a turkey in a turkey shoot then ganking is bad for the game, if not then it is great content. Bumping changed one major issue and the game is better for it. You lot still gank despite telling me that it had destroyed ganking, it did not. It also created more counter play in Uedama as I said it would. I am not right all the time, but quite often. ---

And yet you attempt to refute me and try to divert the debate to strawmen arguments like remove ganking from hisec, which is not and has never been my position. PS I don’t care whether people respect me or not, especially not gankers who spend so much time defending their turkey shoot playstyle, what I care about is getting the game balance right so it is worth playing for as many people as possible. Because taht is what was great about this game. ---
