You can respond to somebody, without caring what they say. If you check your manual on humanoid communication, you will note the following passage:

> [@:Manual on Communications with the Humanoid Population](#):
>
> “In some cases, a humanoid will state that it does not care what a xeno thinks, and you might attempt to secrete a zingy rebuttal. Why not count the number of words uttered, and observe that the humanoid must care enough to write so much? However, this is fallacious silicoid reasoning.
>
> For example, if a xeno continuously criticizes a game (without actually playing it), it is normal for humanoids to state that they don’t care. They might describe their level of not caring in great detail, but this doesn’t indicate they care about the criticism. Humanoids are more likely to care about the continued presence of a xenoid lurker, particularly a pedantic energy vampire. However, while they do care about the intruder, they don’t care what the creature has to say. Humanoids recognize that silicoids never say anything of interest, and their objection is to the creature itself.”

I would encourage everybody to watch, _What We Do In the Shadows_.

> **[What We Do in the Shadows (TV Series 2016– ) - IMDb](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7908628/)**
>
> What We Do in the Shadows: Created by Jemaine Clement. With Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén. A look into the daily (or rather, nightly) lives of three vampires, who've lived together for over 100 years, on Staten Island.

This documentary reveals the presence of an energy vampire, Dracvlad, who haunts us with boring stories and banal commentary. His goal is to suck all life out of the universe, but we can resist him by pointing out that he doesn’t even play EVE.

Time for wooden crosses, holy water, stakes and swords? Do they even sell that at Market and how much have the prices for those gone up?
I doubt there are BPO’s or BPC’s for those.

Now see, that’s a suggestion CCP could take to the bank.

They should introduce about a thousand new vanity items. Holy water, wooden crosses, neutron swords, and pictures of Aiko. These could be randomly seeded in various stations across the galaxy, creating exciting adventures for stamp collectors.

Of course, you would need a healthy ganking community, in order to keep these items sufficiently rare (to entice microtransactions).

I think we should have a Collection page in-game with stuff to be found while exploring the galaxy and then get rewards each time a collection gets completed. .. and yes, a picture of you in lingerie would be most valuable.

You heard it here, CCP.

The players are DEMANDING in-game Aiko items.

Aiko’s modified Neutron Blaster ($3.99)
Aiko’s missing sock ($19.99)
Aiko’s blueberry muffins ($5.99)

You’re the one who keeps responding to him.

The problem with making capital ships more self sufficient is the fundamental balance philosophy. We’re already in treacherous waters with the existence of HAW dreads, in particular the Phoenix. Big tough ships should be big and tough, but not impervious to everything but a bigger and tougher ship.

In highsec, the really dangerous ships to the overall health of the game are orcas with their massive ehp and capability to fit incredible shield tanks fed by 3200s which they have enough cargo to be effectively cap stable running.

At least against a blinged marauder, a sacrificial neutralizer can make them a feasible target for a pair of taloses.

But a freighter with multihundred k ehp AND a target spectrum breaker? In highsec?? Come on, man! What could anyone do against that?

If it was locked to ≤0.4, I could get with that. It would be nice to see more freighter traffic through low than tethered jf’s.

Although, the idea of watching a freighter pilot CONCORD himself because he broke some passerby’s target lock would be amusing.

Or I dunno. Maybe hire support. Find friends to support with logis/escort. Split the shipments up. Literally join the in game chat channels that report on Uedama. Don’t fly thru Uedama. Use pea in the cup strategy. Figure out when to haul. Stage inventory according so you can move faster if a window opens up.

There are literally so many ways. I will not explain the old ways as then they will not be effective. However, to those who know and use them, they know who they are.

Whether “first world country hi sec” is the world “they believe” they live in, or the one they do is something I guess I can’t prove to you. But it doesn’t matter, because if they believe it then it’s “their reality”.

You’ll understand carebear psychology much better if you come to terms with this . I think a lot carebears come into this game expecting business to work like it does in the first world.

You can do business in a third world country if you are big enough and connected enough.

Just like how in Eve, the NPC corporations are big and connected.

Try competing with Shell in one of those third world countries, if you’re a small entity. Your shop will probably be the victim of a “random” arson.

But in a first world economy, you don’t need to be connected. You can do all that solo just fine.

Carebears believe they have a ‘right’ to AFK autopilot wherever they want, whenever they want. They object to PvP, and think that objection will save them. Afterward, they cry about how unfair it is.

Our job is to keep shooting them. That’s what CCP wants us to do.

The irony is, there probably are other games that offer it. They do have the right to play those other games instead of this one if they want.
