Right, because the Retriever in nullsec is engaged in INTENSE TACTICAL BATTLEFIELD MANEUVERS, while the Retriever in Highsec just sits there. ---

Why would I waste time going 75 jumps to kill a retriever, when I can just gank a retriever where I currently am? That makes no sense. ---

Ohhhh helll no. F those guys. If they cared theyd not be putting themselves in that position. They dont care until they perceive it as “unfair” on them that someone decided to show them what being complacent does. ---

So, gankingin HS is good for the game because there are “counters”? I accept the concept of counter as avoidance with whatever methods for this particular and isolated question. I’m interested on knowing where the logic stands. If there are counters and anyone can apply them, why the gank prevails? For the case, could it be:"…ganking prevails and should endure because there are below average pilots…" --those that do not knoe all the counters or don’t put them in practice– Disclaimer… this question is just an isolated instance. Does not mean I’ve changed my mind and in no way, represent any relation with whatever anytime. Past, future or imagined. 🕶 ---

The fact there is a counter is a separate issue in my mind as to whether it’s good for the game. In my head the whole game runs on destruction, the more things are being destroyed the more they are worth. Ganking is destruction therefore it is good. ---

I agree. My point is also that ganking is good for the game. A necessary evil, a guilty pleasure.. call it anyway. But is HS ganking the best scenario in context of pilots’ experience, knowledge, number of friends… ? ---
