Violence, or the threat of, is a necessary part of many financial transactions in EVE. You’ll have to learn how to fight on your own (although feel free to ask questions, and I and other players like myself will give you tips). You can always try the old classic move of catching someone in a belt and ransoming them, although I wouldn’t spend too much time on that these days - the game has _really_ changed from when this was truly viable. Maybe doing it to a wormhole hacking site runner would work better these days? I haven’t tried. But if you, for example, learn the art of harassment, you could do something like camping out in some group’s wormhole (make sure it’s not a dedicated WH PvP outfit, though), and make their lives miserable until they pay you to go away. The first time might take a while, and the price you command might be small, but you’ll gain experience, and will avoid making mistakes and wasteful moves in follow-up attempts. You can also hunt for weak targets, and ransom their stations. Or sit on a gate somewhere and snipe traffic. Lots of ideas.
