jEveAssets 7.8.1 (2023-10-18)

Important: EveKit is closing down 2019-12-15, I will be releasing a new version of jEveAssets close to that date that will allow you to migrate your EveKit accounts to ESI (same way you did with the old EveAPI accounts).
Any question you may have in regards to migrating with jEveAssets can be asked on the jEveAssets Discord Server

Been getting many varying 400 errors over the past day or two, perhaps the same problem as before.

Thanks for your work!

Confirm, a lot of 400 errors for a past days

@William_Pierce @Vicktor_Bout Thanks for the bug report
Looks like it is a SSO error :fire: Other 3rd party devs are getting it too.
I have notified CCP Ghostrider on slack.

I will edit this post when I have an update.

EDIT: This issue should now be resolved.

Yes, it was fine right after downtime
But now again 400 errors

Yup, still broken. Just tried updating and one character gets a 400 in the Account update (despite being on the same account as another that works fine), even after deleting and re-adding it. 2 characters get Account Balance 400, 1 gets Journal 400, 1 gets Blueprints 400, 1 gets Contracts 400, etc…

It’s seemingly random, but it’s happening to almost all of my characters in some way (almost every one is losing at least something).

Getting ESI errors on my end just now too. For me these issues were correlated with the DT experiment starting - but no idea if there’s a casual relationship from the issues I’ve been seeing just on my end.

Example from the Data Errors in the Update field below. I have 1 corp with 4 alts and nothing else.

Weird that Char 3 isn’t getting any errors on this pass. Seems kinda intermittent on which entity is falling over for which entity.

ESI > Account Balance > Char 1
Error Code: 400

ESI > Blueprints > Char 2
Error Code: 400

ESI > Blueprints > Char 4
Error Code: 400

ESI > Contracts > Char 1
Error Code: 400

ESI > Contracts > Char 2
Error Code: 400

ESI > Market Orders > Char 4
Error Code: 400

ESI > Industry Jobs > Char 4
Error Code: 400

ESI > Transactions > Corp
Error Code: 400

Thank you for reporting it again. Prism X have already been pinged on slack.
But, it is weekend so it is likely he won’t be working, so I really don’t know what to do to get it fixed. :anguished:

Hello! My use case is very simple. I wanted to recover all my assets I left behind and expected to get exact number of what I have region by region, system by system. Of course this can be done with the raw Assets table but with Tree it’s just much faster and gives the big picture of all the stuff at a glance. Yet Tree does not account for container (==ship in my case) cost and therefore shows much smaller value.

jEveAssets 6.1.3 released

Changed:
-Removed EveKit (Accounts can be migrated to ESI)

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed update error on Java 11+ (SSLHandshakeException because of forced SSLv3)

How does HyperNet work with this currently? Does it include the item value of the item’s being raffled on HyperNet, or are they removed from assets altogether?

I’m not sure to be honest.
I know HyperNet is not in ESI and is not planned to be included in the foreseeable future.
So I’m guessing they won’t be included. But, to be sure you will have to test it yourself.
Sorry to not be of more help…

Hey there @Golden_Gnu . Love jEVEAssets! So I accidentally deleted my journal and when I updated I only got one month’s of journal history back. Is there any way to get more history? A setting I can tweak? A code modification I can make? Or is this an ESI limitation?

@Archer_en_Tilavine
ESI only have 30 days of history.

However, jEveAssets backup everything every time you update to a new version.
Unless you deleted the entire directory, they should still exist.
The locations of the files are on the jEveAssets wiki.
The files you need to restore at in the profiles directory,
They will be named as follow [Profile name]_[jEveAssets version]_backup.zip
Example: #Default_6.1.2_backup.zip

  1. Close jEveAssets
  2. Move the the profile file you want to restore to another folder. The file are named as follow: [Profile name].xml
    Example #Default.xml
  3. Unzip the backup to the profiles directory
  4. Restart jEveAssets and update from ESI to get the data between the backup and now (it may have gaps depending of how old it is - it is possible to merge profiles by hand, but, it is not an easy task)

Let me know if you need any additional help.

Jeveveasset does not seem to update properly for me. I am trading everyday but last journal entry is 11 December.

Worth tracker is on 26 Dec but value seems to be off.

Any idea where this could come from?

@Draga_Daelys
Thank you for your bug report.
I need the logs: https://jeveassets.nikr.net/faq#bugs to debug it.

@Golden_Gnu Thanks for building and maintaining this awesome tool! Are you considering adding the journal entries for “Purchased a HyperNode” so those transactions are included in the records kept?

See image from in-game wallet “Transactions” section showing purchases, and refunds for expired offers:

@Fonsui
Thank you for your bug report.
jEveAssets already get all journal and transaction entries available in ESI.
It is most likely an ESI bug, but, I need a little more info before I can make a ESI bug report.
Does the entries show up as market transactions in jEveAssets and/or in-game?
Also, could you screenshot or type out the exact text for refunds too.

Is there a way (or maybe this is a feature suggestion) to add the value of your plex vault to the total?

my graph porn gets messed up bad every time i buy a large stack of plex

Hell i would be fine to just add a static value if need be (but again plex vault would be awesome since it would also update when you plex your account)

@OnTow
There is no ESI endpoint for the plex vault - and there most likely never will be.
In short no account level information will be exposed via ESI, only character level information is available.

Manually entering plex for you character would be an options. Feel free to make a feature request on GitHub
