Everyone has easy access to Rens, except the Caldari (Is that a seafood?) and who cares about them. The area all around Rens is free of Trigs thanks to the efforts of players other than myself šŸ˜œ fyi Fran is the ā€œPerimeterā€ of Rensā€¦ ---

Well, I think Rens is a good choice. For High Sec travel itā€™s located 20 jumps from Amarr and 25 jumps from Jita, so itā€™s pretty close to being in the center and Rens System is a 0.9 Security level. ---

Rens? Haha. The largest concentration of hisec players are in Caldari space, so Jita will remain the hub unless the Trigs bounce it, and if that happens then likely Perimeter becomes the hub. No trade hub will be picked that is ā€œequally inconvenient for everyoneā€ just because itā€™s halfway between Amarr and Jita. The market wants to be where most of the players are, and that isnā€™t close to Rens. ---

I hate to tell you this but the Invasion has already started making players move and by the time itā€™s finished, even more players will have moved. Caldari space is being systemically carved up which is causing players to leave. Doesnā€™t matter if you donā€™t like it, if the High Sec route between Amarr and Jita stays the way it currently is then Rens is in a very good location to become the Central Trade Hub. ---

As a loyal citizen of the Empire my first reaction is: _Minmatar trading? Best thing for 'emā€¦_ More seriously, I suspect Rens will prosper - being half way along the route between the Empires isnā€™t a bad place to trade. I spend a lot of time in the systems between Rens and Amarr and the number of freighters transiting the Mehatoor pipe is definitely up. From "rare to ā€œsteady flowā€. And I suspect traders will pay attention to what is, or isnā€™t, selling in Rens. I donā€™t think itā€™ll be a rapid shift. Thereā€™s a lot of mental inertia, people reluctant to make the shift because theyā€™ve got a mental ā€œJita **is** the Marketā€. Additionally, Jita is huge and will take a while to fade. I think we are in a period of slow shifting of the markets that will even them out and reduce the absolute dominance of a few hubs. Itā€™s a change, I can see why that shakes people, itā€™ll take some adapting to, but Iā€™m curious to how it settles. Of course, if there is a final cutting of the hi-sec routes between the Empires then that will be very interesting.
