How to fly:
This fitting can be used as a brawler or a kiter depending on the opponent.
Against shortranged ships with blaser or autocannons try to stay at the edge of your scram range (keep at range 8k) to minimize the incoming damage.
Against bigger targets or ships with longrange weapons or slow tracking in general try to get a 500 m orbit around the target to reduce damage taken.
To catch ships like interceptors and similar fast frigates like gamurs or slicers, try to slingshot them to get them into scram range and kill them.

The more expensive version features higher DPS in tradeoff for ~350eHP
4812 eHP vs 4463 eHP assuming a uniform damage distribution.
Version 1 focuses more on shield tanking (with higher HP and a better resistance profile) leading to a higher (48,4m) signature radius, making sigtanking harder to pull of.
Version 2 uses a damage control do gain additional eHP in shield and armor while using damage rigs to keep the signature radius low (41m), making sig tanking easier.
Piloting on version 2 is otherwise the same as piloting on version 1

This Fit is intended to fight any brawler and scram kite brawler. 2 Webs give it strong range Control against most enemys it will face.
Fit is built for FW space and to use Novice plexes to ensure it will only fight ships of its class. The buffer allows it to be quite easy to manage, the rocket range (especially with faction + hull bonus) is more than enoug for its intended range and with 2 Webs it can control the range to most targets.
How to Fly it: Find a enemy in FW space, preferably a brawling Frigate. When starting the engagement keep at range to the target by 7500M, overheat your launchers but make sure you dont burn them out. Watch what the enemy is doing, is he trying to get closer or trying to get away and try to react to it. Remeber to heat your AB if you have the feeling your range is changing.
If you want a bit more DPS switch the Rocket launchers to Arbalest-Versions, just be aware they cost a bit more.

This is a new bro friendly kiting platform. With the current meta of the game being nanoships with high speed and maneuverability, this fit can allow newer players to spend time focusing on manually piloting their ships. Cap stable, and an engagement range of up to 44.1KM with a decent burst active tank, a new player can focus on applying damage, and piloting their ship. It also allows you a wider range of targets to engage because of the speed and weapons range.
Below are some key stats to point out.
75 EHP/s tank which is solid for a t1 fit frigate.
44KM missile range with 65 DPS and 650 Alpha (assuming faction ammo)
2838 m/s without links or boosts or implants. (i threw in some drugs because young players should experiment!)
Cap stable @ 27.2% this is important for new players that are learning to micro manage their first ships and it allows them to worry about 1 less issue and familiarize themselves with other piloting mechanics.

Caldari Ships are Shieldtankers with selectable damage and good application against webbed targets thanks to missiles and rockets. This Scramkite Kestrel Fit has rockets of all damage kinds in its cargo. Caldari ships are slow. Thanks to its overdrive in combination with afterburner, scram, web it stays in control of the fight. Against ships with close range weapons start the fight at range. With its range bonus the kestrel is able to apply damage long before the enemy ship can do so.
