Just in case some players may have thought “Ah, Legion, meh, nothing there for me”… **that’s not entirely true**! (Well, not _entirely_) Legion drops with two weeks of giveaway items, and also a great deal of 7 days Omega for just 10 Plex in the NES! Note that only omega accounts get the 10 PLEX, for obvious reasons. ---

It would lead to a proliferation of alpha accounts just for the sake of farming free plex. Yeah, no problems with that. How many accounts could someone dedicated to the task make in one week? ---

There are always solutions. For instance, Alphas could be given a 7-day Omega offer in the NES instead (after the free 10 PLEX offer for Omegas expires). I never said Alphas should be given 10 PLEX - only that they should also get the free 7-day Omega offer (which is essentially what Omegas got). ---

One week (7 days) might not be enough to see it. Unless you do some preparation before activating Omega, like training all required skills, collecting ISK for ship+modules, getting to lvl4 agent. Or something like that. if these 7 days come out of nowhere then many won’t be able to use it at all due to skills, ISK or RL time. ---

It used to be that everyone could claim a free week of omega when a new expansion dropped. CCP changed it to 10 plex and giving existing omega accounts 10 free plex. ---
