Corporations have so many evermarks because any time a corp member gets some, the corp does too. While the point of evermarks for corp members is to buy ship emblems, the purpose of corp evermarks is to buy skins for your structures. ---

As you are saying, corporations have a lot of those evermarks. They have very few ways to spend it. The problem if you turn corp-evermarks into more player-evermarks is that you speed up the other problem where player-evermarks are useless. This problem happens when the player has all the relevant logos, if they even care about logos at all. Evermarks are clearly designed to be a limited resource to make logos something to work for, and your suggestion removes that limitation for the few people in a corp who care about evermarks. Now I’m not against removing that limitation, but I think it can be done much easier: **Delete Evermarks.** And change it so that when players want to show their alliance logo on a ship all they need is to be part of an alliance. There’s no need for this currency, it is pointless now and will be even more pointless once corporations AND players have more of these things than they can use. ---

Yep, even CCP are recognizing the problem and want to include another player-evermark sink to avoid the problem of an irrelevant currency. Instead of the ability to turn corp-evermarks into player-evermarks (and negate CCP’s efforts linked above) I think it’s better to ask for another use for corp-evermarks for the corporations that have no structures to use it on. ---
