There are plenty of people in the game, on forums, etc that supported the BO. I know your tiny rock for a brain can’t comprehend that but it’s true nontheless.

On the forums, the most have withdrawn their support once they got a taste of it, and those who did not simply never logged in in the first place, as the numbers have clearly shown.

I know your sad excuse for a brain cannot comprehend data, but that’s how it is: you’re alone in thinking BO was anything but a major failure.

You keep harping on this false narrative-- even in the face of people in recent post who openly admit to not using most of their alts during BO. The vast majority of the drop off was alts who’s players didn’t think it was worth the extra effort to actually pay attention versus their potential reward and the many thousands of bots removed.

hell no. Again, as mentioned previously by many pilots, a blackout with some type of counter measure (intel tower, intel module or whatever) could potentially work. But a full BO like what they dreamed up during one of their sauna nights, hell no.

It’s cute how scared the “big boys” like you got just by removal of your free intel from local. Shows how stagnant and lame nullsec has really become.

Not at all. Null sec is not stagnant and lame because of intel. Intel is a must in a state of conquest and state of war. Intel is not what makes null stagnant. Null sec is stagnant primarily due to super caps, the spawning of different structures left and right, and the lack or reason to fight. Null sec is stagnant due to all of those NIPs that everyone has, and many of opposite sides are way to cozy to each other.

A BO with counter measures, I dont think anyone will have major problems with that, but a BO without a way to counter it, especially a way for the small entities to counter it, that would be a non-starter and in spite of the nonsense CCP spews out, a return of BO without counter measures would be the death of EVE.

Funny thing is, ALL the people who come here and scream about how good BO was are now gone, except for 1 or 2 like you who’s killboard shows absolutely no change in activity over the last 6 months.

In fact it would seem by looking at yours, your daily hunting activity has actually INCREASED since BO ended. You are roughly getting the same amount of kills you were before BO and slightly more than you were during it.

Why? Do you plan on leaving highsec anytime soon?

I do hope you are nothing more than an ill informed newbie and not some forum alt. “Free” intel has nothing to do with nul stagnancy, in fact all BO did was increase the reasons NOT to engage in the game.

You interpret my lower amount of kills at the start of the blackout as coming from the blackout. Actually I couldn’t play as much during that time due to RL issues. Had nothing to do with the blackout.

I got contracted a titan and didn’t even bother logging in during the BO to accept it. Still haven’t bothered to log in. Clicked on the Eve keynote on you tub and end up here afterwards to see if anything was different. Nope.

So you didn’t play as much during BO - How then can you say BO was good?

NB; I went through your kills day by day - Over the whole of BO you get less kills daily than prior or since.

It seems the ending of BO has been good for your chosen play style.

Because it didn’t matter how much I liked the BO. As I said, RL lowered my gameplay during the early part of it so of course I would get less kills. Good try on spinning your pro crab AFK narrative though lol.

All he’s got is spin.

Spin stats to try to support his krablife; or spin ships in the hangar because there wasn’t instant Intel and it was scary.

It was never about crablife - even pvp folks have been seen to disappear over this retarded change.

The main issue which literally everyone with at least half a brain was screaming about is that blackout implemented like this creates game balance issues no sane designer should be able to overlook.

There are two defense mechanics against zero effort hotdrops: knowing they’re coming and docking up, or simply going too big for them to handle, and for non-bloc players who never had the second option, removing option #1 is a kill. Not like subcap null “krabs” were making much of a buck anyway, but they were the ones hit the most, and the bloc krabs that went the second route were literally untouched.

There are two defense mechanics against cloaky cunts as well, and they are the same. In nullsec, a dangerous space to begin with, wormhole chicken petty tricks do literally nothing, beaten by covert cyno with ease, and not getting super easy auto intel with new sigs spawning before they can be jumped, making blackout nullsec a true low effort ganktard paradise.

I am not there to be some low effort scrub’s free content pinata, therefore I refuse to log in or pay for it, simple as that. And of course, blackout is super deterrent against trying to get better sov because you cannot even use it so what’s the point? It was never about perfect intel, it was about balance and goals, both trampled by blackout.
