they’ve already said if they start seeing people staying beyond the 30 days they’ll try to get them to leave and expand.. FC will be keeping an eye on it. Plus the vets there recruiting or otherwise, need to push them out as well. ---

Here’s an idea: You get a one-tine 30-day timer once you first enter Exordium, and it starts counting down immediately. After 30 days you inherit a permanent suspect flag when undocking or jumping into Exordium. Game on! Should make for some interesting content… ---

I left Cryptic Studio’s Neverwinter when they pulled content and messed up the game real bad in 2019. I remained active voice in the official forums, but recently last year, I returned to the forums to find… no forums! The shutdown the forums, killing all the tutorials, user stories, assistance, and nostalgia all gone. I voiced my concerns about making a safety net in other threads in the forum. I am a casual alpha miner here, I don’t recall ever asking or demanding a safe place to hide. I think my track record speaks volumes on the killboard. I had one hauler lost transporting gas out of Pochven in 2025. The year before that 2 haulers and one venture in low security. I mine a lot of gas and kernite, I have learned how over time. It is like life, trial and error. If you shelter your children, they never experience life until it is too late. Today is Sunday morning here, later today my husband will be burning burgers and weenies in the back yard. I am getting all my meds in me, so I can join the family. To my European friends, this is the Memorial Day weekend, where millions of US Americans will burn food, drink beer, and remember something… I forget uh, beer! uh no, that’s not it. Fallen soldiers, in past wars. But I bet a lot of the people think it is about the beer. 🍺 Have fun! ---

Yeah they’ll “try” … Until they realize Exordium becomes the only public window into the game for new players, and it will be too late to revert back. They’ll cave in to new demands to make Exordium more permanent-friendly for those who wish to permanently live there. Things change dear grandpas…not anything stays like you are used to during the war… Get used to it, the game will not die with safe zones like this, in opposite, it will thrive from it. You know…75% of the people(according to ccp’s own numbers) don’t even WANT to pvp in this game. All (fenris) does is (finally, took them over 20 years to finally get it) reacting to this numbers correctly, like a normal(not pvp favouring) person. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, NOT THE CEO OF THE COMPANY. bottom line… Seems to me that more has changed and not just a name… Good for the game… ---

You clearly don’t get it. The game _depends_ on PvP and ship loss for the market to have any meaning. Ship loss is precisely what keeps commodity prices at a sustainable level. If everyone decided to just ‘chill out in space’, commodity prices would fall towards zero as there’d just be entire warehouses full of more than anyone could buy. Mining, trading, etc, would then become meaningless. EVE _needs_ ships being destroyed at a certain rate. That is the entire structural cycle of the game. That is why the ’ I just want to chill out in space ’ people are hypocrites…because they are basically expecting other people…anyone but themselves…to undergo the losses that keep the economy running. ---

DUDE…look the numbers up…ccp annonced them freely…pvp is a 25% MINORITY. The ONLY reason it is(self proclaimed) so ‘big’ here is because ccp(aka the devs) FAVOURED pvp over any reason for 20 years. Their NEVER was any logical reasoning for this and now as it seems to be over the game will still live on, it will thrive, regardless of the howling and whining of the minority. PVP was pampered for 20 years, they see this as their birthright which was wrong from the start. All that happens now is that PVP is put into the place it belongs, something that should have been done 20 years ago but doesn’t for the reasons i mentioned. Welcome to the new and better eve online, stay or leave, but stop complaining… ---

Yes…pvp simply cannot stand the fact that they are put where they should have been 20 years ago…a place where a 25% minority belongs to be… This is about people used to be spoiled and are furious that it stops… ---

I don’t think you made it up, I just think you didn’t understand, or maybe remember exactly what the 25% was. 25% of people like to PvP ever. 25% of people only log in to PvP these are two very different statements, so yeah, source please or GTFO ---

25% of people that ONLY do pvp…this number does not include ‘part time killers’ that do something else normally and just do pvp if the option occurs…but ‘pvp only’ is 25%…which is still minor even IF you count the part time in… ---

Lol So 25% of people only do PvP and then another 70% or so also do a bit of PvE to pay for the PvP. So still only 5% don’t do any PvP, so it’s still a PvP game and you are talking nonsense. ---

You are stupid, right? The ‘part time killers’ may be a factor close to 10-15%…again STILL ‘minor’ after all, around 1/3… Why are you so fixed to deny the fact that pvp is not as big as it proclaims itself? Is it maybe you start to see that the spoiling for over 20 years has no actual reasoning behind but is just favouring of the devs? Good for you, it lasted for 20 years, but you have NO right to complain now that it seems to be over… And of course no ‘birth right’ about the spoils 🙂 ---
