hi, Ive been absent from the game for about 7 years i think. I heard there’s a new cluster where PvP is not possible, so i thought I’d resubscribe. My stuff was in nuillsec where I was a miner, but all my stuff is now in asset deliveries is misaba. I gather that Misaba is a hive of scum and villany lol, and Im under no illusions I can fly it out, so i’m wondering if anyone has any advice about how to get my stuff to somewhere relativelyt safe ish so i can chill and mine. A GM told me i could get exactly one ship moved by thre GMs somewhere, but I dont really fancy going that far back in progression (I have about 20 different ships and lots of carebear modules etc). I cant afford a haulage firm and in any case, Black Frog tells me Misabar is blacklisted as its too dangerous. Any advice would be appreciated. I subbed for omega for a month, so Im not going anywhere for a while lol ---

Yep, Misaba is a known asset safety station for many systems in null sec and is often camped because of that. You could sell all the ships there at severely reduced prices to recover some of your ISK. As you’ve noticed hauling corps don’t even want to try it as it’s too risky. If you want some fun and a challenge you could try hauling some ships out yourself. The one time my Dominix was sent to asset safety there I did just that and had fun burning an insta-undock bookmark with a covops ship and getting my battleship out under the noses of what seemed to be a permanent station camp, and filament out to Pochven. As filaments these days have a spool-up timer I bet those campers would be on my battleship immediately so I’d have to find a different way to do this. Maybe a couple of safe bookmarks and safelogging before filamenting at another time, or waiting for a wormhole. If you can fly a blockade runner and do know what insta-dock and insta-undock bookmarks are and how to make them you could try docking and undocking to see if you survive. And if yes, give it another go and try get most of your modules out. The ships however are hard to move if they don’t fit in a blockade runner. So while barges, exhumers and cruisers could fit, anything larger doesn’t. Welcome back, and good luck with this challenge! If you’re not in a hurry you can always keep the stuff there until a later time when you do know how to fly blockade runners, and play the game elsewhere in the universe in the mean time until you decide to pick up those items in Misaba. ---

Even if they’ve been gone seven years and haven’t kept up their skill queue, that’s still three years of SP accumulation. I wouldn’t be quick to flush that for a new toon. I think we need some further details. @Lisbeth_Riraille what is your investment in this situation, i.e., what’s the rough ISK value of the assets in question? How big of a loss would you stand to take if you fire saled at 50% versus trying to move it? ---

I didnt say get rid of this one, since they havent been here in 7 yrs and wanna play in exo, they can roll a new toon and relearn from scratch until they figure out their current situation @Lisbeth_Riraille it looks like pushX will go there ---

I’m not sure of the way this works, but if there are no limitations on the kind of ship you can move (i.e. does it have to be a ship that you already owned prior to coming back to the game?), one could buy a suitcase (i.e. a dread) and stuff your ships into the ship maintenance bay and get it all moved to a safer low sec. If you can afford the suitcase. But I doubt that falls under the courtesy. Clearly circumvents the limit set by Fenris of ‘one ship’. You can probably only pick from ships you already owned. ---

With repackaged ships ofc… Depends on what you had there, you can also consider firesale on the hulls + and haul just fits/modules/expensive stuff in a blockade runner. ---
