Well … his lordship seems to be one for engaging in mighty deeds (symbolically) and epic feats (also symbolically) and really it’s way easier to commission a painting than to actually try to put Max Singularity on a pyre. I wonder whether Max Singularity will be portrayed as a mass of squamous tentacles again? ---

It’s actually pretty funny when you think about that picture, Aria: it makes it look like _Vaari_ is actually just a front for the ‘tentacles’ of Max Singularity… that Vaari’s a puppet, a pawn, with Max controlling things. ---

Lord Vaari is, um. Kind of recognized to be a bit eccentric? (That said do you really not have people creating propaganda images with Imperium/Goonswarm ships blowing your enemies to tiny bits or something, Arrendis? Murder-porn’s kind of a propaganda staple, I thought?) ---

Alternatively, if you mirrored it off to the other side it would look like stylized wings. Actually kind of pretty-- a sort of curly filigree. But. Yeah. I agree the image is more ambiguous than maybe it might have been meant to be (though I wasn’t about to be the first to point that out)… ---

We’ve found that images attacking someone else tend to serve as rallying points for the people being attacked. [Other](http://i.imgur.com/MnhLmX4.png) [alliances](http://i.imgur.com/0mhXGvq.png), on the other hand… Yeah.
