We are certainly a helpful group and willing to teach newbros! Null sec is far more lucrative than high sec for PI, mining, industry, and pretty much anything else you’d want to do. We have been mining nearly every day this week and one of our newest members just set up like 45 planets for PI. Eve does have a notoriously steep learning and there are no CONCORD police to bail you out in null sec, but if you’re brave enough to seek your fortune at the edge of space, we have a home for you here. We use Discord extensively for collaboration, as does the alliance. So, we do require you to have and use Discord regularly. However, if you are asking if we require you to stay in voice channels all the time, then no. We only require you to be in voice comms for certain fleets if you choose to participate in them. People get in voice comms because they want to hang out, not because they are forced to. ---
