# Mining Crits Should not Have Been Introduced to the Game

In theory, a forum can have enough information to enable BOTH forum with chronological linear replies and a Reddit style nested. As long as the server can remember which comment replies to which, there is information so you could have a client side toggle. In practice, I haven’t seen a single site be able to implement this, it’s one or the other. And in EVE forum’s attempt, nesting actually _broke_ beyond 3-4 layers, so you actually got the worst of both worlds.
