I have been around a fair bit, for what it’s worth (and I don’t mean this patronisingly). I have seen so much nastiness and bullying and viciousness. I just find hatred so utterly sad really. It’s a dead-end street that takes none of us (_and by this I mean, the collective us, and I mean to include both perpetrators and victims_) nowhere. ---

Most people are, on a very fundamental level, good people. Human nature is an entirely human societal construct (our instincts, generally speaking, are long gone) and this means that if the world (real or imaginary) is a dystopia, or for that matter a utopia, it is so because we choose to make it that way. We can choose a better path. And I think we should. ---
