# Modified or corrupt files

I am trying to start eve after the patch and i get “your eve client has modified or corrupt files”. I do it the same way i was doing it until this morning, and it happens on two different computers. Anyone else knows how to fix this ?

Please confirm/deny something for me:

- both computers have their own, seperate EVE installation
- both computers are connected in a LAN
- both computers share programs/whatever regularly
