The [Monthly Economic Report](https://www.eveonline.com/news/view/monthly-economic-report-january-2026) for January 2026 is now available! **Economic Trends:** - Mining activity increased following changes introduced in the Catalyst expansion. - Ice mining volume increased during the Winter Nexus event period. - The Ship Price Index continues to decline, with an approximate 20% decline over the last year. - The Mineral Price Index continues to decline, with an approximate 50% decline over the last year. - Minor consistency fixes for plot names. I’ve noticed a contradiction in Sinks and Faucets chart. I see 2379T total isk amount at the end of December 2025. But in the beginning of January 2026 there is already 2595T total isk amount. What could have happened on New Year’s Eve? ---
