Ok, you convinced me. 2 weeks Omega left then all accounts stay Alpha. Actually playing Eve is just not for me anymore. Just login a few times a month to keep my isk active for the MER.

Arrendis I tried to add you on discord but I need that code that goes with your name. I been playing the hell out of Star Citizen or I would have got back to you sooner. I still want to tell you my thought on why this entire war was faked to help turn EVE into a micro transaction game. I do have to ask if you are a partner with CCP and get free omega and plex added to you account from CCP every month like all the YouTube guys get and probably all of the CSM? Are you that guy on Liars in Station with Matterall, Rundell, and CSM Ken Feld?

[![](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/c/2/9/c2915b39ea6fa5a1cc9f12b8cb5f87ebfa6ad553.jpeg "Is Eve Online Free to play?") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hB4rr7JPhrE)

This guy admits to taking bribs from CCP, start watching at 1:35 and he admits it.

CCP bribed all the YouTubers (with its partnership program) to sell the ore redistribution, scarcity, and the industry changes. I bet even the CSM get free game play and plex from CCP to lie for them. CSM Ken Felds was on Talking in Stations bragging about using 55000 plex to pay for all his accounts, now we know how he earned it. How many of the war leaders are on the take from CCP too? All of the CSM are from the big alliances and CCP DEVS are actually members of these big alliances too. This war was faked by CCP and their hand picked CSM. If CCP does not hand pick you, you will never be a CSM rep. The CSM (16) hide behind the NDA and sold the ore redistribution, scarcity, and the industry changes for CCP.

This war was a scam to drive customers to buy plex from CCP. All of CCP YouTube partners sold ore redistribution, scarcity, and the industry changes for CCP and they were paid with free omega and monthly plex added to their game wallets, oyea and the special appearance from CCP Rattati to help with the YouTube hits and the YouTube money.

How many of the CSM 16 are high ranking leaders or members in the alliances that dragged EVE through a 16 month war to help CCP destroy player wealth in EVE. You guys that just put your wealth into a 16 month long war only to see it all lost in matter of 2 weeks were scammed by CCP, the CSM, and your alliance leaders. The set you all up like bowling pins and are laughing at you from behind the NDA they signed.

A) I already told you how to get in touch with me, and gave you a link to INN. The discord server link is at the upper-right of the front page.

B) I am not a CCP Partner, no.

C) I haven’t been on the TiS Discord in years, and I have never gone on the show.

D) Re: the CSM. It’s not a bribe, it’s literally one of the perks of being on the CSM: [CSM - EVE Community](https://community.eveonline.com/community/csm/)

> While serving on the CSM, all members of the Council are eligible for free Omega status on up to five accounts. They are also eligible for free admission to any CCP run event such as EVE Fanfest, and digital rewards associated with them.

E) Of the ‘War Leaders’, Vily, Progod, and Gobbins are on the CSM.

F) All of the CSM are from the big alliances? That’ll be news to I Beast, Suitonia, and especially Mike Azariah, a highsec guy famous for running ‘the Magic Bus’ for new players. Yes, it’s true that the large, organized groups have a larger presence on the CSM, but that _is_ how democracy works: the people who can organize and motivate voters actually get people elected.

G) The CSM do not ‘hide behind’ the NDA, they are _restricted_ by it. It’s a legally-binding contract. Look at what happened two years ago w/Brisc. There’s a reason he was so adamant about clearing his name, and it wasn’t because ‘muh PLEX’. CCP basically attacked his RL livelihood, and you think a dude who’s legit been on TV and represented clients in front of the US Congress gives a crap about free accounts in a video game?

H) Repeating ‘the war was a scam to drive customers to buy plex’ doesn’t make it true.

I) All of CCP’s YouTube partners sold ore redistribution and scarcity? _ALL_ of them? That’s kinda ridiculous to assert. Plenty of CCP’s partners on YouTube just make music videos of fights, and such. That’s not selling anything.

J) How many of the CSM 16 are high ranking leaders or members in the alliances that dragged EVE through a 16 month war? I mean, it was 13 months, but the answer is four: Vily, Progod, Gobbins, and Kenneth Feld. The guys getting attacked didn’t drag EVE through anything. We _got attacked_.

What, are we supposed to just throw up our hands and shout ‘OMG, WE QUIT!’? Please. You still haven’t demonstrated a damned bit of evidence for anything here, except that CCP will comp up to 5 accounts for CSM members (which they’ve been doing basically since the CSM started, because of how much time and effort being on the CSM takes), and they give people in their [Partner Program](https://www.eveonline.com/news/view/partnership-program) (who have to actually do stuff _for_ EVE) perks, which, _again_, they are totally up-front about doing.

Are you going to accuse _Pyfa_ of shilling for CCP and laughing at players, too? Maybe Dotlan?

Just repeating the accusations that the war was fake isn’t evidence of it. It doesn’t prove anything. In fact, having to just repeat that while throwing around accusations of malfeasance just undercuts any strength the claim might have.

As for Kenneth Feld’s 55000 PLEX… 55000 PLEX is 10 accounts at the 12 month rate. The dude claims to be an industrialist, and he’s in an alliance full of people with literally _trillions_ of ISK. Even if CCP comp’d half of those accounts, I’m more than sure he’s got the ISK to PLEX the rest.

Seriously, let’s see your actual _evidence_, not just wild accusations and speculation.

The fact is, the circumstantial evidence is enough to get CCP, the CSM, and few YouTubers investigated for wire and advertisement fraud. CCP Rattati, the CSM, and a few YouTube channels sold a lie to customers that kept them paying for EVE. Had CCP been honest from day one with the fact that, scarcity and ore redistribution were new game mechanics that were never going away, I would have UN-subbed when CCP Ratatti told everyone to quit EVE. I could have saved myself the loss of a great deal of money had CCP been honest with its customers but CCP manipulated me into believing scarcity and ore redistribution was only going to last a few months which kept me paying for the game.

This war was a set up by CCP, the CSM, and a few paid YouTube propagandist so CCP could destroy player wealth in EVE. CCP did this so they could increase plex revenue and recoup Perl Abyss’s investment from buying EVE. I would bet that I am not the only CCP customer who feels CCP manipulated customers to keep them paying.

Only a investigation from FBI/FCC will make me believe any differently at this point. I want the criminals at CCP and their CSM, YouTube partners to pay for their crimes of advertisement and wire fraud.

CCP can make any changes they want to the game at any time and it’s _your_ responsibility to know what those changes are, not their responsibility to tell you. Does that suck? Yes, but it’s pretty much standard in TOS across online services (which EVE is, since you own nothing here, you only license access to CCP’s property). Honestly, stop for a moment and think about how many lawyers are involved. Do you really think @Brisc_Rubal would risk being disbarred and losing his livelihood so CCP can defraud you?

No, the circumstantial evidence here is a) not enough to get anyone investigated for fraud, and b) not even _evidence_, since you have still yet to show _any_ evidence of fraud _at all_. All you have is a bunch of ‘CCP is giving these people the PLEX they openly told us they would give them and I don’t like the changes CCP made to their game that I agreed they can totally make whenever they like’.

And that’s all predicated on the idea that scarcity was sold as a temporary thing, but that it will never go away. (The ore redistribution, you should notice, was _not_ presented as ‘this is only temporary’, except in the sense that _all_ changes to the game are temporary, since they might get changed again later.)

> [@Max\_Jergens](#):
>
> believing scarcity and ore redistribution would only going to last a few months

Now that’s just _dumb_ on your part. I mean, Upwell structures _still_ aren’t finished, after _six years_. Logi still aren’t on killmails after _over a decade_ of CCP saying they want to do it. The only thing CCP said would happen in a time-frame of ‘months’ (and, for the record, 48 months is still 48 _months_) was:

 ![](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/3X/f/8/f868964ba1b88004c4f4a3b3238fdf6c5645d788.jpeg)

[Re-read it yourself.](https://www.eveonline.com/news/view/the-eve-online-ecosystem-outlook) They never gave a solid time-frame on _anything_.

I mean, JFC, CCP screws up pretty much everything they touch in _some_ way, but that doesn’t mean there’s _fraud_ involved. And you have shown absolutely nothing that actually suggests there was. It only suggests that you don’t know the first thing about that of which you speak.

Except they didn’t engage in any deceptive advertising. First off, they never advertised the game on the basis of super-abundant resources. And they never advertised the game based on ‘scarcity will end in X months’. They said they planned to end it when they felt that the economy was where they wanted it, and when they had a better model to put in place.

And Rattati’s still saying Q4 of this year is when we’ll see them start to end it. If they miss that timeline, though, that’s a missed deadline. It’s not fraud, and it’s not deceptive advertising. Honestly, Karen, put down the pipe.

CCP Ratatti said that ore redistribution and scarcity was temporary which mislead me to keep paying my fees. Had CCP Rattati said, ore redistribution and scarcity is a permanent new game feature, I would not even be on this forums.

The law states…

Failure to disclose. Companies can be held liable for misrepresenting a product by withholding crucial information that could influence the purchase decision.

Scarcity will still be here in Q4 and it will never be like it was before all this started. Ore redistribution which was part of scarcity will remain. The 14000 belts removed (dishonestly) by CCP and was also part of scarcity will never be added back to the game. So from my prospective, CCP Rattati is not even telling a half truth that is also against the law. CCP needs to start being honest with customers and stop withholding crucial information that could influence the purchase decision.

Except that Rattati also said that it wouldn’t be a quick fix, _and_ he’s consistently said that they were keeping an eye on things with an eye toward when they’d feel comfortable ending scarcity. Further, he’s said [they’re planning to end the scarcity phase Q4 of this year](https://www.eveonline.com/news/view/eve-online-july-status-update).

> Scarcity firmly ends in Q4 2021 with additional resources as well as player choice for what resources to distribute in your sovereign space.

And frankly, you’re not purchasing a product. You’re licensing _access_ to CCP’s data in accordance with the EULA and TOS that you agree to. And you’re getting that access. The TOS clearly states that CCP can change anything they want, at any time, and that _you_ agree that it’s _your_ responsibility to inform yourself about those changes.

Next, “Scarcity will still be here in Q4”? Really? **This** is your basis for accusations of fraud? ‘OMG, you totally need to call the cops and get Bob arrested for theft, because he said he’d return my lawnmower by next December, and it’s August and he hasn’t returned it yet!’

So CCP has committed fraud by not doing a thing by a deadline that hasn’t happened yet? A deadline that is _entirely_ their choice, and which they are perfectly entitled to alter or throw away, based on the TOS you agree to every time you login to their service.

_Brilliant_.

Yup CCP Rattati added to the chaos leaving out crucial information that could influence the purchase decision.

> [@Arrendis](#):
>
> Scarcity firmly ends in Q4 2021 with additional resources as well as player choice for what resources to distribute in your sovereign space.

CCP said nothing about high sec space, only sovereign space. Once again CCP does not provide the crucial information need for customers to make well informed decision.

> [@Arrendis](#):

> You’re licensing _access_ to CCP’s data in accordance with the EULA and TOS that you agree to.

That does not place CCP above the law and CCP still has to provide its customers with crucial information that could influence the purchase decision. What in the world would make you think that a product license would somehow places CCP above that law? The laws are in place to make sure that cash transactions are done honestly and misrepresenting a products/licenses by withholding crucial information that could influence the purchase decision is against the law.

No, Rattati didn’t give an initial estimate because CCP _didn’t have one_. How scarcity impacted the economy and how quickly those effects happened depended on _us_. Do you seriously think saying that he didn’t know how long it would take—as he openly did on a number of CCP streams—constitutes fraud? Because it sounds to me like he was being _honest_.

> [@Max\_Jergens](#):
>
> CCP said nothing about high sec space, only sovereign space.

Literally the only time the initial devblog mentions ‘sovereign space’ is _before_ the economy part, in the ‘player survey’, where they talk about how often sov gets overturned as one of the things they want to hear about from players.

All of the economic stuff is ‘New Eden’, which, last I checked, includes all of highsec.

> [@Max\_Jergens](#):
>
> That does not place CCP above the law and CCP still has to provide its customers with crucial information that could influence the purchase decision.

Except they’re not violating the law. The only thing you’re ‘purchasing’ is _access_. You are _getting_ that access. And they are not withholding any crucial information about what you’re getting access _to_. They are telling you what the plan is, they were honest about ‘we don’t know how long it will take’, and now they’ve said that they’re setting a target for Q4 of this year (which does not mean ‘by Q4’, it means ‘by the _end_ of Q4’).

And you’re _still_ accusing them of committing fraud _in the future_. Which isn’t actionable _now_.

> [@Max\_Jergens](#):
>
> What in the world would make you think that a product license would somehow places CCP above that law?

Nothing. Instead, I’m saying that by agreeing to a license that says ‘yes, I, the customer, am the one who is responsible for making sure I am informed’—a license that is publically viewable _before_ you agree to it—you are entering into a voluntary contract that says ‘I agree that anything I do not make sure I’m informed about is not crucial information that could influence my purchase’.

How can you be well informed when CCP and the guys CCP sent to give customers information are sending mixed messages to the people that looked to them for information? How can you trust the information when the guys given it to you are being paid with plex and free game time by CCP? Up until yesterday I did not know CCP paid YouTube guys game time and monthly plex. Today you taught me that the CSM also get free game time and plex from CCP. The CSM are suppose to represent all of the customers but if CCP is paying them with plex and free game time, who are they representing, CCP or the customers?

The CSM should have never took the free game play and plex from CCP because that just looks bad.

Wow.

I would suggest you do some further research on contract / tort, as well as - as Brisc mentions - defamation and/or libel before getting yourself worked up any further. What you have already posted are grounds for a lawsuit against you, should one feel particularly motivated, and doubling down any further is probably a bad idea until you have some solid legal advice.

As to your specific objections, I think you’ve actually alluded to a key point in your posts - CCP Rattati did in fact state in the live streams that players unhappy with the scarcity changes should probably unsub for a year or so until it works through.

That you reference that in your above posts shows that you were aware of the significance of the changes, and CCP’s recommendation for those upset about them. Which, in effect, means your chances of a successful legal challenge are… well… it would be wrong to say ‘even more boned’ as once it’s all the way boned, there’s no further boning to be done. But you get what I’m saying, I hope.

I’m not going to touch the libelous areas of your weird rant at this time, as that would be daft. But as to nullblocs and the reasons for the start of the war… You do realise that this is a game where people blow up spaceships for enjoyment, right? And that the largest groups in Eve hadn’t had a proper ‘lets put all the toys on the table’ kind of war for at least a couple of years now? So, is it possible - just possible - that these folks wanted to go blow up some spaceships? I mean, you’ve got plenty of info showing that the industry changes and taxation changes introduced by CCP directly ended the war (if it wasn’t already effectively ended by stalemate anyway), so how does this fit into your conspiracy?

YouTuber’s ‘selling’ ore redistribution… Again, you’re not looking at the whole picture. Mineral distribution was a process started in December 2019 - almost a year before the Partnership Program was introduced. All but the industry change was in place before the Partnership Program was introduced. Now, you _might_ have a point if you were saying that CCP brought in the PP (lol) to try and hold on to (or rebuild) goodwill from the community as a result of these changes. You’d possibly be right (though I doubt it - the timelines are too tight, that’s just not how large organisations like CCP work), but in any event, to attempt to draw a line of collusion due to a program that wasn’t in place when these changes took place is farcical. And even if what you were saying WAS completely true (it isn’t), CCP recruiting content creators to act as community champions and reinforcing positive messaging around the game isn’t illegal.

🤣

tl;dr : angry man make bad points, may get sued, needs to chill.

I dunno, I seem to have managed it. Scarcity being long-term, but still temporary, was something we knew _before_ it happened. CCP’s partner program giving them perks? Yeah, we knew that, too, _because CCP told us_. I even linked _where_ they told us. Same for the CSM. It is _not_ CCP’s fault **you** were not paying attention.

> The CSM are suppose to represent all of the customers but if CCP is paying them with plex and free game time, who are they representing, CCP or the customers?

The CSM represent players _to CCP_. CCP’s interest is not for the CSM to agree with them, but for the CSM to tell them when they’re gonna do something amazingly stupid that will hurt the game. And the CSM _has_ told them that, when appropriate. The CSM does not sell CCP’s decisions to the players. If you’re looking for a bunch of guys under NDA to tell you ‘OMG, CCP is totally gonna screw this up’, then you’re looking for people to break contracts and expose themselves to legal consequences, which is just a _stupid_ thing to expect.

Stop making assumptions and educate yourself on what the hell you’re dealing with. It’s not CCP’s fault if you don’t pay attention to the information they give out. Obviously, some of us _did_.
