The developer that was brought Eve a new economy is the same developer that killed DUST 514 economy. CCP knew what was coming when they put that developer in charge of Eve economy. CCP could reverse all or the better part of the nerfs but they don’t. So by CCP doing nothing to fix the economy or mining or indy, that means that the game is the way CCP wants it.

Didn’t play Dust 514, what happened to its economy?

Blaming only one person is of course easy, but not right. The reality is, as always, more complex.
Dust 514 was supported by Sony (after all, it was an exclusive title). Dust was only available for the PS3 and after the PS4 came out, Sony naturally had no interest in supporting games for the old generation. It will hardly have been able to survive on its own, since EVE “grew up” on the PC and was just one shooter among many.

Hyper inflation, reduced drop rate from kills and reduced credits earning. Generally killing the economy like in Eve.

2 ways to solve that, CCP opted for the wrong one (deflate/scarcity).

New sinks and things like new Super Titans pitched at a much higher resource build point to consume resources, T3 battleships, T3 frigs etc to do the same. Make these new ships require citadel cores (which cost liquid ISK) to provide another sink.

Look at the MER, at the height of “Abundance” the ISK faucets were lower than they are today… So what have the actually achieved? Don’t fall for the smoke and mirrors, apply that critical thinking!

They opted to deflate because it was much cheaper i.e. no need for new art assets, animations, less engineering work back-end and so on…

obviously we need more scarcity things are getting out of hand .Ffs bring nfts into the game along side with better plex deals and update the eve store so people can buy ships and equipment using their credit cards we are going that way anyways why not skip the ■■■■■■■■ in between .
