The topic was mostly focus on saying that empire space does have a big impact in game and some use are not helping the game ( what i get )

Well try mine an active ice belt with a retriver / covetor or any untanky mining ship and you will probably get ganked cause people don’t like other player getting on ‘their’ belt and im pretty sure this is still the case.

I will not change a game rules that player set when they compar stuff the same if I said Harbinger is better than zealot because I have armor boost on it.

And still I can travel around .5 systems, with an ice belt, and 2 ppl in local. Yes, your experience is not everybody’s experience.

Well i can confirm there was a Lot of orcas in tash, i was to blame for 6 of Them, and i was rarely alone, 50 was a bit much but 30 sure that could be counted more then once. The belts was 27m m3 size , and most roids could fill one orca fully and the rest 2/3 og the way.

On a avg Day i could mine about 400 to 500.000 m3 Per orca , that would take 8 or so hours.

How ever most belts Will go away now and i have terminated my 6 account and Will Focus on other stuff.

If or when they make the r4 moons decent i may return.

It migth but since they havet give a time or anything other then we Will tweak the bpos … It is Better to stop expenses and focus om something else for a bit, atleast in my mind.

Lucky for me they did just change the market so i Will spend time to profit in that.

I understand if you (CCP) take of Tritanium, but I does not understand why all different moon ores, Coesite, Sylvite, Bitumens, Zeolites gave same mineral Pyerite and Mexallon, if you allready distrupt us with this update, why you cant change moon ore result like every different moon ore gave different mineral, but not Tritanium. ATM I does not see at all do moon mining if I’ll get only same mineral, and if some corps/alliances add a lot of stations with realy expesive rigs… guys mean you (CCP) think realy good it before you change it all.

i see a lot of tears from stupid people that seemingly just want somewhere safe to mine afk. Some dude earlier was on about mining in 6 orcas.. in tash (tashmurkon?)
Honestly..
wtf

I look forward to all you miners leaving tbvh, especially the afk ones with 2675765764 accounts that do nothing for the game except moan like f### when suddenly theres 1% more risk.

Mining, may actually become profitable for ‘the little guy’ now.

GOOD JOB CCP!

Everything in the game is profitable for the little guy.
The thing is scaling is a real inhibitor for solo/small corp.
At least it will be now anyways. With moon mining abc/spod solo and small corps had the oportunity to scale and compound their success. Doing that with belt/anom mining will be much more difficult. And, like you pointed out, a little riskier.

I tend to measure things in terms of isk/hour, then risk in eve.
I’d imagine most other people do the same, and tend towards the path of least resistance.
Pooping all over people who take the path of least resistance, instead of the road less traveled seems like an exercise in futility to me. You can’t expect people in general to not be risk averse. That’s just silly.

Too many alphas plexing their account mining moon ore Is what I am thinking. I was thinking about joining one of the null sec corps to do just that. I guess its definitely not worth it now.

I am here to express my disapproval with the changes. Everyone who agrees its for the health of the game are the same people that already have 3 titans and supers stashed away. I also take exception to CCP’s attitude on implementing these changes, “We understand that there is a minimum expense (structure + drill) associated with establishing functional moon mining facilities but, since the income was quite generous for quite some time, many moon mining facilities are already beyond the break-even point.”. They fail to take into account that it’s not simply the price of a structure + drill or the fact that not every player has been around taking advantage of their “generosity”. You have to fuel that structure, defend that structure, have a moon to put it on, have the infrastructure to support it, etc. What if you are a tiny new corp that just tried to put a moon down? You get screwed. All changes CCP has made since I started playing in September of 2018 have only negatively effected my experience in this game.

Yeah, this is what upset me about the whole thing.
Putting up 3 stations that will never pay for themselves, because I gambled that CCP would not take trit out of ubiquitous moon ore and lost. The best I can hope for now is selling the anchored stations off at a loss.

If they had been more forthcoming about the details of the changes, I wouldn’t be in this boat. I imagine I’m not the only one that will have this problem. CCP is like “sucks to be you!”. Feels really bad, actually. My salt mines are running a few miles deep.

A few month ago when I was between null-sec alliances, I debated starting up a small high-sec mining corp. I won an astra & an athanor on the hypernet and I was thinking about buying 3 more already anchored athanors that were in low-power. Luckily I didn’t go through with it & returned to Null or i’d be really pissed. I recommend trying to unanchor them if you can and holding onto them or selling them off. Someone in my alliance just tried to restart an R4 moon in null @ max pull and it only paid out 1.4bil.

</div>

Decommissioning the structures opens me to the risk of someone else scooping them up from space. I’f i’m going to entertain a total loss scenario, it will be the station being destroyed, not scooped up from space. At least with it anchored, I can try to sell it off as is, with minimal risk.

Waiting 7 days to scoop 3 billion in stations isn’t something i’m interested in going through. The anxiety would just not be worth it. Not to mention the secondary risk in moving the packed station to sell. All around, it’s just better to leave it anchored. But that also makes it harder to sell in alot of ways.
