This is the basis of the changes. For those without these reserves it is a monumental change that we are ill equipped to deal with as we do not have the vast wealth to side step the mechanic, or retrain to use the alt method. I am not sure what they should do, if this is right or not, just that it affects my playing of the game, something I pay them for ---

well this will make hs/wh moon mining rather dead since ya no one even in the bat ■■■■ crazy mind mines ether spaces moons for the goo ore which ya i have Yet to see any one steal the crap when you can’t even give away the crappy goo ore and they removing nearly all minerals from it you think any one will mine the stuff and not just shut all stations down after that last chunk pull ---

Just have to beat those NPC miners to it and watch for Trigs patrols and also hope no Pirate FOBs spawn while you’re mining those little pebbles 😂 ---

You may not realise it but we’ve had an oversupply of minerals for **years**. In fact i think we’ve been showing an oversupply since **before** the MER’s started. ---

oh look another way to fundamentally hit the player base in the pocket, future note to eve developers stop hitting the player in the pocket. Love the game but every change since 2019 has been designed to hit the player in the pocket. Well done give yourself a round of applause. ---

If the issue is with the reserves that players have, get rid of the reserves of anyone that hasn’t logged in, in say 5 years. Don’t remove anything else from their account, just the ores and minerals. If they had a project and RL came up then they could always apply to get it back from CCP when they came back. Otherwise the stuff is in the hands of corporations waiting for build orders or players with a project in mind, which is the point of it, surely. Where are these trillions of isk of horded minerals? ---

Saying something like this in a dev blog when reality already says otherwise tells everyone that you do not “keep a close eye” on anything. You do not even know what you are talking about at all. Not to mention that saying “it won’t matter for old structures as they have been refinanced” is utter bovine waste. You mine the moon weekly and have weekly expenses. It does not matter if you recovered the cost for the structure. It is completely unviable to keep these structures. If you plan on increasing the usage of R4s, maybe you should do that immediately and not “some time” in the future. This is again a completely bogus way of doing things. Only causing issues, no clear direction, and nothing but empty promises and vague ideas. ---

So promote more manufacturing, tie it in with mining, make the skills combined so you are encouraged to manufacture when mining e.g. need level 4 production before you can raise mining level 5 or something like that.
