# Multifit: allow fitting without drones/charges/cargo

**The problem**

Multifit won’t fit anything unless every item in the saved fit is in the hangar. I wanted to fit an Apocalypse and it was blocked by:

> Missing items to fit 1 x Standard Apoc  
> 4x Valkyrie II

Every module and rig was there. The ship was fully usable. It just had no drones.

**“Just click Buy All”**

That doesn’t always work:

- The local market may not have them, or only at a silly markup
- I might already have drones somewhere else, or want different ones this time
- I might plan to add drones later, after hauling, from a corp hangar, etc.

**Proposal**

A checkbox next to “Fit Rigs?”:

☐ **Fit without missing drones/charges/cargo**

- Modules stay mandatory, so no half-fitted ships
- Drones, charges and cargo are loaded as far as stock lasts, and the rest is skipped
  - After fitting, a short summary shows what was left out

If you are just fitting 1 single ship, boarding it empty and pressing “fit” from the fitting will equip whatever you have for it, and give you list of missing stuff.

Ofc, this is no fix for how multifit works, but in your case with just 1 ship it would help.
