You should do what I do. This perfectly illustrates the stupidity and unwillingness to learn that used to be so generalised until I started to “annoy” people there. Whether it would be appropriate to say that or not depends entirely on whether it’s actually true or not. Are you even able to understand how it being the truth or not makes all the difference? What’s wrong is trying to make someone believe he’s making a difference when the truth is that he isn’t… And if the gankers are (rightfully) laughing at him because he’s doing silly things, you want him to know and be aware of what’s actually happening so he doesn’t keep doing the same silly things again and again. You’re doing a disservice to him by hiding from him the truth of what’s actually happening. Again, what should matter here is the truth. Saying “good” there would be appropriate only if it was actually good. Otherwise you’re lying to make someone feel good about something he did wrong. That does **not** help him understand what he did wrong. What other reasons could I have for trying to help people understand what they were doing wrong?
