Why would a ganker waste a CONCORD timer on a valueless T1 frig since it’ll pull CONCORD? Most peeps are getting ganked in Cal space. Uedama still burns regularly but also the surrounding systems. Aiko’s crew will gank around Halaima and such for miners on occasion. Hawk hunts SoE hubs. Cliff hunts abyss runners, who tend to run dumbly in near Jita space. Sometimes Aufay goes off. And that one system in Amarr LOL. Hek is also getting more active. My guy, it is sadly obvious you don’t play and aren’t active. Hence why you don’t know these names and don’t know what’s going on LOL. ---

Thanks for finally posting a link on which you base your wild claim. If Mr Ratati is concerned about **the killing of brand new players in new player ships** perhaps he could focus on teaching these new players on what may happen if they don’t take very simple, effortless measures against avoidable attacks, and when they all stay within the same part of space (Caldari of course). You know, via the vaunted NPE thing that is story driven (yay, content that isn’t content) but currently far removed from practical use… Perhaps he will, and already has a plan in the works to do just that, who knows. Perhaps he can introduce “killing fatigue timers”, forcing the evil griefers to seek targets elsewhere for a while, spreading the risk thinner, away from Caldari. Perhaps he finds inspiration in what Destiny or other people wrote in this thread. Whatever. Give the new players a chance to learn what is key to survival as part of their introduction into the game, and become EvE players who are part of proper content creation, instead of bottlefeeding them until they (quickly) leave the game out of boredom and prolongated cluelessness anyway, and instead of giving them a false sense of security. Any measure that tackles the problem via immunity features will be abused in novel ways, that is a constant in EvE, and not by (former) gankers. And that will erode the game further towards irrelevance. It takes a bird’s eye view to see what consequences may occur, combined with a good knowledge of the product. The Infinity “solution” is not an export product for this server - although _some_ will undoubtedly try. ---

The thing that makes nonsense of the whole ‘harm against newbies’ argument is that every single person here was once a noob…yet are still in the game. I was ganked not long after joining the game…yet I am still in it, and having a great time. Most of the people who are gankers have probably themselves been ganked at some point. All these people are _proof_ that being ganked is a perfectly survivable thing. To me its now some _utterly trivial_ thing that happened months ago…and not a major cause of PTSD or leaving the game. ---
