That’s much more like an argument and one I’m in no position to deny, frankly. I ask because I spend a fair amount of time working productively alongside State aligned interest groups. It’s not always easy but it’s possible and worthwhile. Recent news reports of events in the State have me concerned for a number of associates there. It’s disappointing to see the idea of help being dismissed on reflex. ---

This idea is rightfully dismissed on reflex. Both due to who is offering it and because of how it is presented. This is an entirely predatory movement meant to promote the narrative that the State is some kind of inhumane, tyrannical regime that holds people captive and abuses them, not an offer to help. What exactly has she offered in terms of help? All I see is libel and hypocrisy, nothing else. She is simply trying to further destabilize the State and cause unrest, her ideas are not to be entertained. ---

We aren’t going to deny that we have a little problem here, and for sure we would like all the help we can get. If you see a gurista - pop it before it hides again, you’ll do a favor not only for the State, but for the whole cluster. On the other hand, considering to follow rather obvious gurista trolling or destabilizing attempt as “helping” certainly won’t help anyone. ---

Calling your representatives and asking about the POW treatment, checking if it complies with your legislation, changing the legislation to something you agree with, going yourself to the sites and doing something about it, protesting, buying air time to talk about it, lobby… so many things. They are not your issues to help with, especially given how many of your compatriots would use this assistance as a vehicle to damage the State. You can only work on the issues _you_ cause, as the Federation. Your government boasts that it listens to the feedback of its citizens. Do something about how they treat us. Though I suppose stopping entertaining the ideas of dishonest and malicious actors like the OP would also be beneficial. ---

Well, surrendering Caldari Prime would certainly be a challenge, although not the sort I had in mind. What I meant was trying to look past these ingrained suspicions and the crutch of blaming the Federation rather than really looking in the mirror. Perhaps that’s too much to ask for but it’s worth entertaining good ideas, even if you don’t like who has them. ---

I meant suspicions of anything ever said or done by anyone who happens to have Federal citizenship. I’m not sure why this needs to be spelled out but I’m not actually involved in FIO operations. For that matter, I don’t see what they have to do with events at Solva and elsewhere other than as a smokescreen. ---

This entire self-aggrandizing charade has been steeped in the presumption that the Gallente are more moral than the Caldari, where not explicitly stated ‘if only I had the words, and you had the wits; you’d see our ways are the right ways’ has been as good as written in the margins. I engaged in good faith and asked the question, what could be done. I have not said anything to establish superiority, moral or otherwise. I simply asked the question. Why? Because when Intaki was invaded (both times in recent years) I personally encountered a number of Caldari pilots who travelled there wanting to help. One of them was even a concerned Lai Dai citizen. I don’t remember blaming them for the actions of LDPS.
