Yes, recently I have been visiting the Rookie Channel and a lot of the veties there tell new players to go mine, then there are the Agondray people telling newbros to be careful with the griefers who only gank new players mining in ventures. Rookie Channel is great, but the toxicity only comes from the “gwurk gwanker bad” and the boredom comes from the people who advertise mining too frequently. Such attitudes create wrong views about EVE and wrong expectations about the EVE experience, that only creates false dreams to be shattered. ---
