Sorry to bring this to you, but your experience in level 4 missions is hella invalid. Those are not civilian gun fitted battleships - those are properly fitted battleships with nearly 1K dps. Diamond rats are far more powerful than what we get in l4 missions. Hell, if in l4 mission you replaced battleships with the cruisers from diamond rats then you would need proper fleet to deal with them… or some really cheesy fits. ---

The better standing repair plan is to talk to friends about finishing the SOE Epic Arc in fleet with them for the Empire you need to repair. The faction standings boost from that doesn’t trash the other empires and shares in a fleet if the mission owner says so. ---

Different story if you try to keep caldari high as well… then yeah. Do remember that when your standings are very low you gain a lot from a single storyline. Caldari only needs to be around -1.0, can grind corp standings just fine. ---

Yeah, Data Centers are still in-game and active. In fact earlier @Archer_en_Tilavine linked the ‘Faction Standing Repair Plan’ [here](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/npc-joint-harvesting-ships-attacked-my-mining-operation-in-minmatar-sov-space/226255/60) in this thread. All the different Agents listed in ‘The Plan’ that give Faction Standing increase for completing their missions are still active. ---

I in no way, said that Level 4 missions were the same as Diamond rats. Thats why I said I do Level 4 missions, ALONE, and then proceeded to explain that multiple people who know what they are doing can handle Diamond rats. ---

Hmm, I dunno man, I mean, yes I see your point, but I also see where the confusion has crept in, your use of “them” for the opponent, in both cases (when talking about Lvl 4 mission rats and _also_ meaning the Diamond rats that form the response fleet), when the thread is about being attacked by diamond rats… yeah I can see how that could cause confusion as to what you were referring to by ‘them’. > [@Solonius\_Rex](#): > > I never said they were. so this looks kind of like its supposed to be a low/nullsec sort of experience where an industrial pilot could be happened upon by a random roaming pvp fleet. I get it, it makes the game scarier and more dangerous. However the rewards of high sec mining possibly doesnt warrant heavy use of scrams on npc fits. perhaps the dps could scale up slightly and the scrams be removed. This gives a chance to leave (or to stay and fight) but the increased damage will destroy anyone who’s afk or botting or otherwise not paying attention. A pilot operating multiple ships (like I used to back in 2013-14) would have to be on the ball ready to go if the hostiles arrive. maybe to counter the removal of scrams have these roaming fleets engage any ship thats working with the target (reps or drones assisted or whatever). Surely when low/null roams find an enemy mining fleet they dont just pick the 1 guy with the lowest standing then fly off, they would surely wipe the field then move off. Revome scram, increase dps, have dps applied to any other ships on grid actively supporting or being supported by the target. I reckon thats a fair compromise. Perhaps warp in more ships if theres a sizeable number of additional valid targets on grid - So if its like my old set up of an orca 3 miners and a cruiser playing logi/drone bunny the initial fleet arrives locks me up then say 10-20 seconds later additional ships arrive to counter the size of my interconnected group. I would have to recall drones and leave asap while tanking the initial wave - assuming I was that attached to my drones, perhaps just cutting and running is the best bet! ---

I trided to hunt several haulers and I just discovered strange bug (I hope it’s not feature). When you attacking Joint harvesting Impel, probe their safe spot location and warp to them their Arbitrators are able to shoot you at 5000km.
