I used to be able to knock 'em back like water when I was a lad, what I didnā€™t realise was that I became ā€œthat guyā€ when I was utterly twatted; able to function fairly normally on every level except the social one. I stopped drinking when my GF at the time showed me some video sheā€™d taken on a night out with friends, and then told me Iā€™d get my marching orders the next time I got mashed. Man that was an eye opener, I still down the occasional beer but itā€™s literally birthdays and xmas, I donā€™t want to be ā€œthat guyā€ and if I met drunk me in the street heā€™d get a frikinā€™ earful. Some people are pleasant drunks, Iā€™m an arsehole.
