# Officer Mekubal rat?

Just curious to know if this was one of these new officer rats?  
It had no bounty & was a tough little rat, took nearly a full clip of my Orthrus to take it down. However there was no loot at all.

It was with 2 other much weaker rats both of which also dropped nothing.

Earlier that day I ran into a Mordus garmur rat, it also had no bounty, it to was a tough nugget to kill (in my proteus) when it went down, it had a Garmur BPC in its hull.

So if that Mekubal was an officer ship… does that mean officer drops rarely drop an item, on top of being rare to find themselves?

Sorry if this stuff is rather obvious but I’ve never looked into this stuff before but upon finding to special rats in one day by simply wondering around I’ve become curious to understand their mechanics!
