# Omega needed to train skills? (SOLVED)

Hmm, when I started EvE, I didn’t know what an Orca is… At that point I’ve just read about Titans and that it takes more than a year to skill them - sounded like a legit aim for me at that time 🙂

So even if you go Omega, it takes months to skill an Orca. Or you invest into skill injectors, but these are expensive. So please tell us if you fly an Orca by december, until then you will lose some Ventures and Retrievers to Code and find out when Ice belts are best to be found neglected and where you can sell ore and minerals the easiest way.  
The Orca should not be your first skilling goal, you won’t enjoy being not prepared.

And btw, I tried EVE as an Alpha for 3 Weeks before subscribing. That’s perfectly normal. If you’re going Omega, try the [Buddy service](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/buddy-invites-and-rewards-from-other-players/3981/32).
