# Option to block links (in Jita)

Problem: Jita local is always full of spam, and the spam bots replace themselves as soon as they’re blocked. Almost all spam goes to (1) scam contracts or (2) hypernet deals.

Proposal:

I propose to add an option in Settings that (when set) will automatically filter out all messages from local that contain a Contract or a Hypernet link.

Alternatively this could be a per-channel option (like the access-control lists available to channel creators).
