I think adding grid lines (toggleable) when setting up structures on planets would be a nice addition as a small change.

I am confident that there are quite a few other people out there who get a little annoyed when their nice little construction project ends with a few buildings out of alignment.

For example, my whole setup is slight rotated 5-10° but it was the best I could do to make it all nice and symmetrical

If people think this is a helpful suggestion, I will submit it in the player feedback and suggestion or small things section.

This picture is borderline adult entertainment for people like me, tending to obsessive compulsiveness.

Grid lines would be awesome or a node system where factories could be placed and wouldn’t get all weird with spacing would make pi so much better…

The planets should just have hexgrid instead of freely placed buildings.

Pretty please, yes: grid lines, grid points, hexgrid… I’d be happy with any of them.

The only thing one should have the need to -optionally?- position freely would be the extractor heads, if anything.
