Uh … sir, I seriously can’t tell whether this is a joke. If not, you realize that there’s absolutely nothing in there to keep you from bouncing around like a bean in an empty can with every change of course or velocity? Jokes about where to put the donuts and so on aside, it’s … kind of important. People have been known to make some weird modifications to their hardware but if you wind up having to bail out and warp for your tiny life (or your implant set if your current tiny life isn’t meaningful to you) it might be best not to have messed with your own escape plan. ---

Haha! Ah … that’s a little embarrassing. Sorry. It’s just that we semi-regularly have people around who’ve apparently done stuff like modify their pod to be all the time wide open so they can wander around an actual bridge with their actual body-nerves still active and their rig sticking out the back of their head. Eggers in general seem to be longer on ISK and engineering than on common sense, so when somebody presents as having done something crazy with their pod. . . . Yeah. Sorry. ---

I think making an adjustment like that would take months of manual labor, not speaking about cost that likely will exceed greatly cost of a ship itself with all its fitting, which is produced almost instantly in comparison to custom modifications. If custom constructions would be easy, I’d probably get two kestrels and fuse them in x-shaped way to double the firepower without losing the signature radius. ---

If custom constructions were easy (and worthwhile) they would become a new standard. I see no benefit of being able to walk around while plugged in whatsoever. However, if a group of enterprising pirates… I mean, engineers… were to combine the Succubus with the Algos, I would be forever in love. Edit: Oh, and to answer the original question, I prefer my Goo unnoticeable. ---

That engineering is way past my area of know-how. I leave that stuff up to the experts and I just follow the recommendations in the instruction manual. Rebuilding an antiquated internal combustion engine is one thing. Neuro-machine interface is a whole different animal which I don’t mess with. ---

I’m … actually not sure the pilots are the experts really or if they maybe just paid contractors with ethics malleable enough to install “modifications” that defeat the purpose of the original device? Come to think of it people with rigs like that (or … claims, anyway) often don’t seem to be around for very long. . . . ---
