Why such a good return? Because no quantity means no value. So a even an undervalue price is a tidy return. If the game was making money, they wouldn’t have bailed. What’s your point and how does it have anything to do with what I said? ---

I wished you people would think a bit longer about things. The more farmers in the game, the faster it’s going to die. Farmers don’t give a ■■■■ about the game, they only play for the rewards. They _only_ care about getting what they want, the faster and easier, the better. You know it! They play solely for their shot. Virtual wealth and fake social standing! It’s literally donkeys hunting carrots. How much evidence do you need? Just look at what’s going on! When people don’t play for playing’s sake anymore, and CCP actively removes parts of the game because it’s “a waste of time (to play)”, then how many actual players, playing for playing’s sake, do you think are going to stay around? You think CCP stop at exploration? ■■■■■■■■, they won’t! Who is going to play this game, once the donkeys decide to stop? No one is, because it’s not meant to be played anymore, but meant to bait donkeys! In the long term Quality \> Quantity. You can see the outcome of the opposite _today_, yet you really want to argue that all that matters is having more players, even when they’re low quality people, addicted to achievements and rewards? Seriously? You, of all people, who dislikes the people who are literally the symbol of consumerism? CCP spent the last years reaching out to the cash cows and you see what it brought us. A dumbed down game, a serious increase in self entitlement, more whining, more and more demands, more and more consumers who rely on others to feed them content, less activity, less gameplay, less player made destruction, less created content. The increase of CCP’s income isn’t going to keep the game alive in the long run. An increase in players, not playing for playing’s sake, is also not going to keep this game alive in the long run. Millions mean nothing for EVE when there’s no one playing! Farmers don’t have an emotional connection to the game and certainly not to the players either! They only care about themselves! They demand more, in easier ways, at all costs, no matter what! _Their_ fun is more important than other people’s fun. Just look at the Gatecamps thread, with the asshole OP declaring what is fun and who should be allowed to have any! Or that other asshole declaring it “not fun” when her drones get shot down by NPCs _every once in a while_. So instead the thread reached 150 posts with her being an asshole demanding that everything should be changed so she can have fun 100% of the time, _and all she ever did was mindlessly ratting, aka hoarding isk_. ■■■■ Farmers! Even if CCP makes dozens of millions from the donkeys, eventually that faucet ends because no one gives a ■■■■ about the game anymore! Even worse, the influx of donkeys doesn’t last forever, especially not with that abyssmal retention rate! If you honestly believe more people - at all cost - is better, then it makes zero sense for you to hate on USAmericans. Null. Nada. Nil. Zero. Gar nicht. I get that Clonekiller’s not understanding better, but from _you_ I’d expect more thought behind your posts. ---

I can name one right off the top of my head that shut down not because of declining numbers but because the lead developers and maintenance staff were simply bored of the project: Battlestar Galactica Online. ---

I believe the whole skill injector stuff has to go. It’s coupled with PLEX and drives demand up to the point where the price just keeps skyrocketing. I’ve never bought PLEX myself, I’m subbed with real money. I actually sell some PLEX from time to time, so CCP intervening will probably hurt my sales, but I think it’s for the good of the game to keep PLEX prices in check. ---

I logged in having got 15 days of subscription time from twitch Prime. I was expecting to be able to Plex my account however that never happened because the price of Plex is incredibly High. So now I can’t play until they do a subscription sale ---

Depending on your character’s skill, the level of risk you’re willing to take on, and how much you’re planning on playing in those 15 days, making the ~4b isk required to PLEX is still pretty easy and fairly doable. ---

Just use your 3rd character slot to PLEX your account automatically…you can do this easily by just logging into it once a month after it’s all set-up… ---
