# QOL: Change Acceleration Gate Icon Based on Your Ability to Use the Gate

There should be a small X on the acceleration gate icon if you can’t take the gate, either due to something like ship size or having not cleared an abyssal deadspace pocket. If you can take the gate then the icon should appear as normal.

This will make life easier for people who are wondering if they can take an acceleration gate but aren’t \<2500m from the gate. It especially applies to that one room in T5 sites with loads of leshaks where people die because they think the gate is locked, but it is unlocked when you enter the room.
