> For example an escalating monthly head tax to belong to a corporation or alliance.

Just like the wardec cost issue, this then becomes a question of whether or not you can make more money per-person by coordinating your activities… if you can, then the escalating head tax doesn’t impact the large groups in an outsized way. **And** … group size isn’t limited to ‘what’s your ticker?’.

For example? Every single nullsec coalition. Multiple alliances, with absolutely no CCP overhead, so no way for CCP to put an escalating head tax on coalition membership. Make the tax too onerous, and the large group simply splits into multiple smaller alliances, which _all still function as one group_.

No it does not.

Learn to read and do logic, here you are just claiming nonsense after nonsense after irrelevant ideas.

This is a strawman and does not address the impact of _this_ change on smaller corps.

It does however concede that this is a negative change, that it will impact smaller corps more than the larger ones and implies that your view is Qu’ils mangent de la brioche.

This change is inherently bad for smaller non-pvp entities, to a greater extent than the high sec wardeccing change was inherently bad for P I R A T E (and others) while inherently good for smaller non-pvp corps with no effort required to adapt.

They were a larger group than than their victims. They failed to cope with the change despite being larger. This change will bring back that gameplay with a vengeance with minimal effort on their part, regardless of size.

I am waiting for the galaxy spanning landgrap of big alliances like Test and PL did in Provi.

That change will get us all back into NPC Stations so then nobody will have to complain about asset safty.

All our Stuff will be seeded by the big null blocks through TTT. That will be great Excel lists to monitor eve demand in this structures.

Depends how high the escalation per head is. If the escalation is higher than large group synergy, then large groups will be hurt on a relative basis.

As an industrialist the only downside i see in this is:

> All Quantum Cores will be available to purchase from the stations owned by these NPC Corporations:

**Nooooooooooo!** CCP - why didn’t you let us build them? Salvage, moon minerals, abyss junk - there’s a ton of useless materials that needs some love!

Ok, maybe npc stores are needed to avoid hyperinflation. But still - add blueprints to produce these cores by players at some lower costs than npc’s pls!

> Again, CHANGE, BENEFIT. I don’t care about the comparison of the groups NOW, I’m talking about the difference of benefit from a change between BIG and SMALL groups. Anything else is irrelevant.

And to assess the **benefit** of the change, you have to look at what impact it has. That’s not just the immediate numbers, it’s the relative numbers. If I’m in a group that’s hurt less than my enemies, then by the simple virtue of the fact that my enemies are now in a worse position relative to my group, I have _benefited_ from the change.

I don’t really like it. I think it hurt the little guys at the expense of larger group.

Large nullsec group wont really be impacted aside from the initial deployement cost. They will defend the structure as they defend their sov.

But a small indy corp (ex: a single athanor with refinery for compression). You have given every PvP group a much bigger ISK incentive to wardec them.

So now it’s basicly join a large group or become food for the shark (it was already like this but this makes it even more so).

There are too many loopholes for wardec costs based on member counts.

I’ve had many one-man corp wardecs, that turned into 40+ man wardecs as soon as the war went live. [One corp I tracked had dozens of one-man corps, and the ‘members’ histories were huge.]

Conversely, my corp is in an alliance, because that used to increase the cost of the wardec. Also stuffing a corp with Alpha alts would become a thing if that increased the wardec cost.

> Groups independently responding to the same challenges. And Switzerland’s not part of the EU, but the Swiss economy’s built in large part on the international banking system, which also includes the French banking system. Similarly, things like CERN are major international efforts with a lot of money flowing into Switzerland, and they have significantly reduced need for military spending due to the Congress of Vienna’s formalizing a status of ‘Perpetual Neutrality’, basically establishing that Switzerland was, is, and will be neutral in all wars, so nobody’s allowed to invade the tiny mountain country that would take a lot of effort to invade anyway.
>
> So… Switzerland, a country built on international agreement from all of Europe, funded by money from all over the world… _that’s_ your example of a ‘small group’? Kinda seems, again, like a smaller, but very much integrated, part of a larger group.

So you can define group to meet your needs.

So a small group in hisec is part of the same Group as Goons in nullsec because we are all playing the same game. Got you, I also buy stuff made by the Goons in Jita so by extension I am part of the Goons. Just seems a bit absurd.

In fact I have no idea why you even wanted to make that point, it was absurd too.

why you dont add “Plex core”? its easier for all then, use plex as fuel … why not… “Player driven economic…”

and again you add new things, without fixing ols broken mechanics like the bugged war dec mechanic.

Yes it is. In this specific case, it is.

If a bigger corp has an increase in cost HIGHER after the change than a smaller one, then a bigger corp benefits LESS from the change than a smaller one. It’s the DEFINITION.

It’s THAT simple. Anything else you claim is just irrelevant.

You can deny the reality as much as you want. You were wrong from the beginning of your assertion. **CCP CAN make changes that benefit more the small groups than the big groups.**

Big nullblocs are big enough now, adding one more way for them to dominate won’t hurt as as much as this will… For one second, set your mind to a small corp of 5 people who are playing this game for their enjoyment, just think about them producing 30 huricanes per month, got hit by recent ore changes, got hit by trig invasions, now got hit on their wallets cause they can’t pay for core, and if they do, some P I R A T E v 1. 2 will get them and finish their gameplay… Thats 2500 plex less in a pocket of CCP… And there are many many more people like them… The only good thing i’ve seen CCP made in near past was that they removed Dooms day farming of sites, they removed rorq from the game also, so… IDK man, but it looks like ccp wanna kill the game if you ask me

> You clearly don’t remember Dominion sov, where that limit existed, and so did the _biggest, most pervasive stagnation in EVE’s history_ . Once there’s noplace to put a new structure, there weren’t _really_ a lot of ways to invade, unless you had massively overwhelming power and nigh-infinite ISK to replace losses with. Otherwise, you’d just get capitals dropped on your head.

We are in the same position now and structure spam has not helped. You can’t get a structure online in NPC delve either way. These coming changes will not help with that either, they actually make it even harder to get a structure online there. Anywhere.
