# Question about new regional pricing on EVE Online - Omega Subscription

Hi there!

I’m a Steam user and I would like to bring something to your attention that may have been overlooked. Last year Steam introduced a new region called LATAM which includes many countries in Latin America, including my country, Argentina.

Currently, EVE Online - Omega Subscription seems to have inherited the standard price in the United States since no price was set for our region.

Would you please consider setting a price for our region when you get a chance? This would be greatly appreciated by players across Latin America!

Wouldn’t such regional prices allow people gobally to pay the lowest prices available by pretending to be living in the cheapest region?

While this may work for many games, I don’t see how it could work for a game like EVE with a single global server and economy.

Regional prices or in other words a discount would be a global discount for everyone with a VPN.

I do see how it’s unfair to pay the standard price in countries with lower wages, but EVE already has a different way to equalize that: EVE allows players with less money than time to trade their time for another player’s money. You can buy PLEX for ISK.

Spare a thought for the Turkish, their price is %100 of what the US pay.
