You are just sending a lot of mixed signals. You want a larger group, you want a smaller group. You are quitting, you are not quitting. You sound difficult, and that is probably why your efforts to go elsewhere are being blocked. I wouldn’t recruit you based on this thread. That’s just honesty you need to hear. You are in the most new player friendly group in the game, clearly ignoring their advice and claiming they aren’t friendly enough. In other words, you have a bad attitude. ---

I’m not going to waste my time quoting your own posts at you. Everyone here can see that you are contradicting yourself, being unnecessarily vague, and complaining. Nobody is being toxic to you, we are just explaining that nullsec groups generally expect a better attitude than what you are currently capable of offering. I suggest you play in Highsec for awhile until you figure things out. You can also quit the game, I’m fine with that. Best of luck to you! ---

Just a heads up that your expectations about “the community” might be outworldly high. EVEs PVP extends somewhat into the forums. Don’t take it personally and don’t accuse “the community” for the behavior of individuals. Otherwise this generalization reflects back to you. ---

On topic of toxivity: I’ve seen toxic communities in games, but wouldn’t say EVE has one. EVE has a very helpful community, but also a very tribalistic community. EVE has various playstyles and groups, most of them with conflicting interests sonetimes resulting in heated discussions. Or boring ones that are a repeat of hundreds of the same discussions in the past decades. But none of it seems toxic like I’ve seen players behave to others in chat in the time I played MOBAs. EVE players will happily shoot your ship anywhere, which some outsiders might wrongly consider ‘toxic’ but is merely the usual ‘gameplay’ to us. If that’s what you want, I guess that is fine with me. One thing I will point out, though, is that if you look at recent [KB activity for Ivy League](https://zkillboard.com/asearch/#%7B%22buttons%22:%5B%22togglefilters%22,%22week%22,%22label-#:1%22,%22label-#:2+%22,%22label-#:5+%22,%22attackers-and%22,%22either-and%22,%22victims-and%22,%22sort-date%22,%22sort-desc%22,%22page1%22,%22allinvolved%22%5D,%22attackers%22:%5B%7B%22type%22:%22allianceID%22,%22id%22:937872513%7D%5D,%22includeAssociates%22:true%7D), it looks like there is quite a bit of small gang PvP happening among other members of the alliance that you are already in. Your OP cites barriers to entry in the social aspect of the game, but you are _already_…. -in a player org… -that is explicitly new player friendly… -and is engaging in the type of content you say you are looking for. From my perspective, it is difficult to see where the issue is coming from, and it gives the thread a certain undertone of, “I’ve tried nothing and I’m all out of ideas,” that is likely to earn a sarcastic response. ---

I am the last person to tell you to stick with playing a game you don’t enjoy. I am here because I enjoy the PvE, mining, and market economics. If you can’t find something to do for entertainment, then it is either not your game or you are not looking at the big picture. I for one, did not come here saying, I am going to become the best PvPer in Eve Online. At my age my hands are not as nimble, I enjoy relaxed games, but Eve offers strategic fights. You plan then you attack. If you or anyone else desire to quit for the long haul, Mike Azariah would be one of my top picks to gift items. I have taken short leaves of absence as everyone should. Eve is not the center of the universe, any game consuming your family and personal time are bad for your mental picture. If I can’t go to poker night and not be talking about Eve Online, there is something wrong with me, and it is not the game. As for interaction with other players, I always view the ones who blow me up in game, as advance NPC. Be safe out there o7 ---
