@Captain_Gamma raises good points for sure. Even if CCP were to completely redesign this (“No Asset Safety” for abandoned structures being a step in that directly, possibly being the first of many), they should have still had a grandfather mechanic and certainly more to come if they take any further steps 🤔 ---

I’m not really for or against. My point has been, that CCP have their full rights to do whatever they want, because they own all the assets within the game. Players are not entitled to anything. Players can only hope that CCP, out of the goodness of their heart, would rollback the changes. As a consumer, your only true option is to vote with your wallet. ---

I HAVE F’ed up in the game for sure, just not to amount that the OP did. I do feel bad for him. I’m still not quite sure if this a troll post on the subject. But all I had to lose was a few bil. I guess I was more worried about my stuff than he was. ---

The only reason EVE is exceptional is that playing badly has permanent consequences, where in most other games you just die and respawn with everything intact and try again and again until you finally go read the patch notes. ---
