I know it’s not a suggestion but for me the audio from various hangar experiences in ED have always been my favourite. Sometimes I even playback the ambience using YouTube whilst at work - I find it relaxing. If anything, inspiration from those might help. ---

It isn’t exactly what you want, but may I suggest alternative voices for the “Docking Request” announcements, including at least one with a Scots accent, for the authenticity. Also a general “Cluster Shutdown Imminent” announcement, again for the realism aspect. And for Sisters’ stations: “The Sisterhood thanks you for supporting our work in relieving the galaxy’s ills” ---
