Wow, @Manks_Girl , that’s really, really bad. Although CCP has not been entirely forthcoming as to why this is happening, it is obviously connected to the patterns. Now, I use a wide variety of patterns and could not positively identify a specific pattern or type of pattern. Have you been able to determine this? Edit 1: This is an entirely separate issue, but may somehow be involved in this. The new nanocoating, Golden Nova Metallic, is problematic. I purchased this through the Paragon Hub interface, and while the transaction did deduct the PLEX for the purchase, it failed to delivery the nanocoating. I contacted support, immediately afterward, and sometime (overnight, my time) the nanocoatings were delivered to my inventory. However, the remaining issue, which I did bug report, is the Studio interface, in SKINR, where all colors/shades are available for viewing/using still fails to recognize this new item. Golden Nova Metallic simply does not exist in the actual skin design interface. ---

It’s definitely connected with some patterns. I’ve got another example of a Kiki skin with the golden nova metallic not applying much if anything at all. CCP still haven’t responded to my petition properly been over a week so will be interesting to see if they refund me… Still no fix on the retribution spatter design. ---

I am still having problems with skins. The only way I can tell for sure is to buy the ship in question and activate the skin to see how it will actually look. CCP has not even responded to my bug report. @Richard_Darkstar I’ve never known CCP to respond to any of my bug reports, so I would not hold out hope there. But, the issue involves patterns. Have you been able to identify a pattern, or do you regularly use a pattern? ---

I think I have it pretty well figured out and not many were affected. I think it comes to using the pattern “fade in” over the top of another color. ---
