That is CCP’s way of saying Test Mode in as offensive a way as they could think of to the player base, as players are obviously not VIPs to CCP. ---

To someone’s earlier comment, looking through the launcher logs it does almost seem like a new process on the server side might be causing these outages. As I look through logs there seems to be a check from the launcher between XX:15-XX:30 of each hour. It is not uncommon for that to have a connectionfailed due to proxy error notation. I don’t see this check/failure before 30 days ago. ---

any other game gives players compensation whenever there is unscheduled downtime. CCP are missing a big trick here. They’re just antagonising their end-users and not even recognising that this shouldn’t happen, and if it does, players should get a little ‘treat’ as recompense. ---
