I have one 4k monitor and a 2k monitor, when EVE is set on the second monitor it defaults to 4k resolution in full screen. In windowed mode or fixed mode EVE gets set to some fraction of 4k based on window size.

The monitor is 2k, the display adapter is selected correctly.

Why is it so difficult to get the resolution to set correctly on a second monitor? Honestly it is trivial to query the adapter and get the resolution. Maybe you could vibe code it. It couldn’t be worse than the current state.

I recall I had similar issues with my monitors, which too have different scaling.

While a separate client profile with each client using a different display adapter solves a lot, because of the scale difference my windowed full screen game on one monitor wouldn’t fill the whole screen on one, or too much on the other.

I managed to fix it in the end. I don’t remember the exact steps, but I think it had to do with setting dpi scaling off in the EVE exe properties.
