# Security status effects tethering

I already get low-sec hate mail from killing AFK ventures and empty-ship LP farmers in Faction Warfare. It’s only a matter of time before they cry to CCP and CCP starts making LowSec like HighSec Lite.

Yes, it is. The way to get normal players in to Lowsec is to make HighSec and LowSec’s danger levels relatively the same with small difference. That way, folks think “I can survive HighSec and LowSec isn’t much worse” and go and take the moderate increase in Risk to make the moderate increase in ISK.

Right now there’s a _huge wide gulf_ of “danger levels” between High Sec and Low Sec. So when CCP decides to “revitalize Low Sec” they are faced with narrowing the danger gap between the two spaces. They’re looking at either:

1. Making HighSec more dangerous, but not as dangerous as LowSec
2. Making LowSec safer, but not as safe as HighSec

And you and I know which one they’re going to pick to cut costs at the complaint department.

Also, High Sec piracy is a _must_ if you want newbie pirates. They have to learn how to live in New Eden too just like anyone else, but as usual the “but muh freedum” self-victimization crowd doesn’t actually understand what freedom means.
