Hey guys, let’s talk about our own story with EVE! I learned about EVE when I was 11, watching trash videos about how EVE burned muney. At that time, I don’t think EVE is a game that I whould play, because I’m not big enough. After a year of doing nothing, I decided to play EVE. In that normal afternoon, I watched another trash video, and I thought that I should take it a try. At that time, the only PC game I ever played was KSP. My mom asked a friends who played EVE dacade ago, telling me that “this game is difficult”. I didn’t carae about what he said. In China, I’m not able to connect whith EVE’s server without VPN, and I didn’t know what VPN is. So, I didn’t play the game , searching and learning about it. Finally, when I was 13, I got my first account in 2023, and I’m still using the same one now. But, I can’t play EVE because I still didn’t know what a VPN is. I only played for an hour, and I failed to connect with the server for another year. In that year, I played lot’s more easy games, suach as Minecraft (for 11 years), FH4/5, CS2, CitiesSkylines. In 2024, I realized what VPN is and started to use it. I played EVE for 700hours. I went really deaply, becoming an expierienced player, helping new players to play. Also, I became a tiny corparation’s CEO, leading 15 Chinese players. Now I’m 15, and I must face an important test in June, so I stopped playing EVE to concentrate. After that test, I will try my best to be a FC, commanding a whole fleet. May be I will try AT years later. In the past 4 years, I wrote stories about EVE (still working on it), draw paintings (bad) and even design my own ship (check my last few post in MyEVE, i think i’m not good at it). In short, EVE is my favourite game, and I will play it forever, no matter how bad it might be in the future. It’s a necessary part of my life. ---
