Actually, IRL there are probably more 1 person corporations then there are multi-person corporations. I think your idea is trifling. I have a corporation with three toons in it and I am happy as a clam.

I still don’t understand the outcome you are looking for here.

Remove structures? From where? Why?

If you force players into big corps then people will just exploit them. Heck, I have a few alts with skills the skills you mention. I could happily throw up a structure for refining and another with a few factories.

What’s the average isk per hour income of a newbie? 10% tax is under npc rates, what kind of passive income stream could I pull from 50 peons?

I stay in a 1 man corp to avoid the drama caused by people like you.

Having my own corp feels like I have an identity in the game, but mainly it’s to avoid people like you.

I like to play the game using a one man corp so I can play and relax in peace, but mainly it’s to avoid people like you.

Get the point?

That wasn’t the purpose of my thread
The purpose of this discussion was originally to highlight that one man corps do nothing for the game within the Eve MMO genre.

Well, if I may say so that’s a very defensive position you take!

It’s great that you feel the benefit of having your own single player corp, but how is it benefitting the Eve MMO community? Isn’t that what corps are meant for?

I think your _ **idea** _ of what a “Corporation” should be and what it actually is to most everyone else is a bit off.

As well, I don’t think collectivism is something game design should really be going for.

Because no matter what, players interaction. Even if is merely through the market. Because having that soloist corp is retaining that person in the game.

What, you want to stop one-person corps acting as a haven for structure owning? Then war-dec it anyway. Either they bring allies expanding the conflict, attempt a bribe (which you can ignore) or you get a shiny kill-mail for a admission price of a AFK Oracle. Even easier, Structures can be located in the Industry facilities tab - targets are on a platter.

So… You complain about structure clutter.
It used to be a non problem… Or it has always been a “problem” depending on how you look at it. But back in the day, POS deployment in HS had standing limitations, they didn’t show up on overview or cluttered the space in a visible way. But with the introduction of structures, that changed… Somewhat. It made it visible.

I don’t care about stricter limits on how or where you can deploy structures, but it has to be subtle changes, as this “clutter” is not a game-play issue. It is more a nuisance than anything. So the suggestion about limiting 1 man corps is missing the target. It is like having a leaky pipe in the house, and then decide to re-route your piping in the rest of the house to go around the leaky pipe. Instead, you could just fix the leaky pipe.

Also, many of your suggestions would make it _really_ hard to get a new corp to grow. My own corps has been slow to grow, still are. My current corp took 3 months to gain the first member. Almost a year before the second joined. It isn’t because I solo. It is because, the social community is what makes the game fun for me and my members. And just as RL, those things take time to build.

Your idea does.

> -CANNOT anchor ANY structure unless corp has a minimum of 10 players (must include a Director and maybe two other important corp roles).

3 players with an account each thus 9 alts - cannot run a structure - Giving two options “don’t” or “Join a bigger corp”

Station hangers are (presumably) a main reason for running an industry structure. “Ore”, “shared fittings”, , “Corp things of value”, “junk to refine”, even that small number of hangers requires 12 chars in corp.

I still don’t understand the outcome you are trying to achieve - Why are one man corps a bad thing?

That’s literally how whole populations descend into chaos, because no one cares about any rules and social order anymore, in the name of “let everyone do what he wants”.

The modern era hyper individualism is a serious problem. I understand that everyone who grew up with this ■■■■■■■■ disagrees, but 99% of those people aren’t actually capable of forming proper opinions anyway.

Anyone calling that insulting should get out more. Look at what people do, what people write, how people behave. Hell, just looking at reddit would be sufficient.

The very fact that every shitter can make his own corp is an actual problem that should not be a thing. It is undeniable that there are far more corporations than there should be, because there are too many people who want to run a corp (for whatever stupid reason), but definitely shouldn’t.

The bigger picture.
It matters.

■■■■ the wannabe individuals.

Why not, though? There are plenty of opportunities for joining bigger corps if you so desire. I do not see the value in those, though. Just looking at some examples in high sec: **Mission Ready Mining** (which has 2500 chars but literally no kills on Zkill, only losses), or **Strategic Exploration and Development Corp** with 3900 chars (which has low double digit killers and mostly losses), big groups do not equal better EVE experience. In my opinion, it’s the opposite: emptiness and nothingness.

I do not see any justifiable reason not to allow people to go on their own when you have the choice between either extremes and ynthing in between.

Technically you can just create more alpha accounts to circumvent this restriction without any additional RL expenses. Which in turn makes this restriction useless. 😂 But it would be a cool restriction to boost account numbers for CCP, so I can definitely see this become a thing.

Yes… The bigger picture matters. But in this case, you are misguided in your assumptions about people, how they interact and play the game, is flawed. And the problem you want to fix is not a problem which need fixing by force, like you suggest. It is to be fixed in smaller, more fundamental ways. Read my original reply and you will understand.
