# Smarter item search

I constantly tired of finding meta neuts or meta cap boosters by using text field search.  
I expect when I type “medium energy” for all variants of medium energy neutralizers to be revealed, not only the ones who has that exact letter order.  
Make SMARTER algorythm!!

For example: gremlin neuts doesn’t show up when I type “medium energy”, so I forced to use that unique label of “gremlin” for them to be appeared. This is soooo 2000! Why you doing that? IT folks should be better than that! Please, fix!

Also, it relates to medium cap boosters which has that super-weird prefix of F-RX (is it really STANDS for something? change to meaningful term please!)

100% at this day and age, I’d expect any game with bigass inventory to just provide what Path of Exile has, including regex search as a baseline.

It’s not even smarter per se, just extend the search to fields other than name - description, item type/tree, stats …
